Very good game again and putting together a really solid season.

Looked fittest has has since injuring his knee.

Hopefully stays fit as he’s one of the hardest guys to replace in our team. No one has his unique attributes.
Yep. He plays tall and fast. A flyer in the air and on the ground.

Yep, a very good CHF. Far better overhead target than TV or Griff.

Getting carried away there, Dazy. In his last season Griff averaged 4.7 marks a game with 1.6 contested compared to Castagna's 0.9. Griff was also relief ruck; not a role for JC.

George is a very promising HFF, will never be a true CHF. We don't really play one since Griff departed. Chol, Moore and Balta are future possibilities though.

Won't worry about TV. Don't think he deserves any more sarcasm really. Just don't try to rewrite the facts.

Don't take everything so literally leon.

Although I'd back George in a one on one contest with Ty anyday. If he didn't mark he would bring it to ground, swoop on it, dance around Ty and smash it home.

Vyrone Trickery couldn't even get his arms above his head.

Don't really want or need your patronising Jazz, nor your fantasising. And I thought Dazy was getting carried away! Absurd comparisons with a player retired for nearly a year prove what ... literally? [But TV had a higher average of 3.8 marks career FWIW].

It's JC's speed which is arguably an even greater threat.

George is getting better every game i watch him , Very hard and really elevates himself for a mark and smashes packs whilst having the speed to really trouble the defenders

Small defenders cant go with him in the air and bigger defenders for pace , Kids just about to turn 22 in 3 weeks and already nearly 50 games and premiership player

Will only get better and averaging 11 touches and 1.7 goals a game - Could kick 40 goals this year

Ah but you need to ready leysy's post again Leonie. He said he gives a better "contest" overhead. Not takes more marks. Comprehension not your string point.

Here's a tip, they are very different, Watch Jason closely. No matter who he is up against or how many players are in the pack he almost alwways manages to being the ball to groung. Something Vickery was very poor at. He with marked it on a lead or got outmarked in a pack situation.

George plays the overhead role of a CHF - make no mistake. Watch him more closely.

The bonus is he also has the pace, ground play and strong tackling of a forward pocket. Such a unique player who is one of the hardest for us to replace structure wise. Among the top few in our team in that way.

Yes, George is one hell of an awkward match up Leysy.

I’m hearing a lot of rubbish this week about the “gap” between us and the rest closing quickly.

I reckon it’s far simpler than that. Have one D. Rioli take the heat off butler and George, with cads and jack contesting the aerial, and we convert more chances than the oppo.

George will take another step now that the boy magician is back.

The pace the run and the body contests.

That running goal that is why George is there, when hes not fit and cant provide that pace that run that pressure as he couldnt for 3 weeks he isnt filling his role and the team suffers.

3 fit and firing midgets will make the huge difference and hopefully re ignite the spark of August and September 2017.

Have watched in awe at his ability to contest like CHF in the air. Must be a nightmare for opposition coaches to match up. With Rioli out and Martin diminished he is a little easier to handle. But when they have to try to stop Butler, Rioli, Martin, Edwards, Castagna, Lambert, Cotchin...

If I had the skills I reckon George's sprint in slow mo and to the Chariots of Fire theme would be a winner.

Esatto. He is no quitter. He is getting better before our eyes. He is one of my favourites.
