Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

Has improved immensely. Can now say with confidence he has sorted out his issues kicking for goal. Been reported that he spent an extraordinary amount of time over the summer practising. Great to see players improve like that.

Have to say was never a fan and wanted him dropped most of last year but has improved out of sight this season. Still not a great disposer but doesnt make me nervous any more.

And seems to have good build on him allowing him to stick his tackles which I love. Bellis needs to learn from georgie on how to lay a tackle as His efforts to tackle just infuriate me as they never stick.
He is = 6th for ave tackles for us this yr....

He's 7th in the league for tackles inside the forward 50. Last year he was 45th. Has improved immensely in that area.

Wasn't Carlton right into him last year?

SOS can't be completely stupid if that's the case.

Yeah, not sure how serious that was. Any player with an Italian or Greek last name gets linked to the Blues by default.

Next recruit off the rank I reckon.

Is quick, a penetrating kick, agile and courageous.

Got it twenty times off half back down at rainy Frankston and used it well.

A very dangerous player. We are crying out for someone like him in the back half.

I'd give him a go for sure.

Geez that bloke carter knew his football.

Got the wrong end of the ground though :hihi who knows, with enough poise and with higlet, Shai and dan coming in, he might still end up there at some point.

Love George forward but love the idea of him off HBF too. Caveat - poise.

Had an ok game, not as glamorous as his previous few weeks. The highlight was when he sat Dunn on his arse after he flattened a teenager for kicking a goal.

Yeah I liked that too. George really made Dunny feel it! :clap

He's been threatening to take a big grab for his whole career.
Yesterday he took a gem early and I thought "Beauty, he's gonna start finishing a few of the big grabs." Nup.
Still, keep flying son.

What was with the stutter step when kicking for goal yesterday? Didn’t work.

It was new right? Don't remember it in previous games. And just when I thought he had his set shot goalkicking sorted.

In the warm up there was no stutter and he was drilling.

Haven't notice the stutter before? And the spinning of the ball!

Thought he turned the corner. Pressure of the game?

Hope the coaches have a quiet word.

Just get him to watch how Shorty kicks for goal.

Just run straight at the goals, get up a bit of momentum and kick straight through the ball - easily fixed!

His screamer was better than that aerialist howe, yet Howe is the only one that grabs a mention in the media. Go tiges.

Yeh, he kept at it despite things not going his way. Had a good last quarter and kept chasing & harassing.
