Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

This boy is seriously exciting, unprectible, plays as a tall and is on course to have possibly a 50 goal season. His pressure acts and closing speed is of beauty!

Yep love his work too!

He's unique. He has all the qualities of a small forward but its when the ball is in the air that he really shows his versatility.
He can take a huge grab, splits packs (a human cannon ball) or at worst brings the ball to ground.

Really enjoying watching him. George is definitely a favourite in my family!

George has been spectacular last couple of games but his aerial work is where I think he can still improve immensely. He has only taken 1 contested grab this season and he tends to mark a lot on his chest. If he can really get that part of his game going he's going to be very difficult to match up on.

True Tigerlove.

We forget that the kid has played less than 50 games.

He holds onto his marks becomes a player opposition coaches scratch their heads!

That's why our back line is one of the best. Once Broad breaks in our back 6 can play on talls, shorts, fast type of players.

His partner and tattoo brother in arms The Butler was quiet so wait for ripper from him , hopefully this week. Wait for the 3 rd amigo to return and we are top 4 and close to top spot , the game will be back and seriously terrorise opposition defences as we did towards the end of last year.

The amigos have another set of brothers waiting in Shai, Stengle and Higgins !

We don't need Broad to achieve this. Broad is essentially backup for Grimes at the moment, he will be rueing his misdemeanour.

Certainly improving.

Yes he is.. markedly. What I have been most pleased with is that he's gradually knocking off all the rough edges that have plagued him previously.
Kicking for goal is so far at 66%, last year it was 56% (plus lots of OOBs) so he's making more of his opportunities.
What I am enjoying most though apart from his trademark manic pressure, aerial abilities & catlike recoveries is his improved forward play.
He is amazing at dropping into vacant space. Plus he is bringing others into the game with his assist work. Those are genuine talents of a quality small forward.

Maybe his opponents haven't been paying him enough attention but they'll have to now if they weren't already.
Yes I have been critical but I am happy to be off the mark here. Some big games coming up but currently George is smashing it.
Hope he keeps it up. :thumbsup

What I love about you Oldie, is that you have your opinions but are not wedded to them. Like any intelligent person, you adjust them according to the evidence before you (or what you can see of it - welcome to the Summer of George!).

Cheers spook. So refreshing to see so many players improving. We're truly in a golden age.

George has that rare combination of power, speed and endurance. Not many players have all 3.

We may as well copy and paste H.

Elite forward pocket and CHF.

Yep Georgy boy is building every week. Just wait till he starts rotating through the midfield.
