Another composed and clinical game from George.

Its true. Always been a fan, but wasn't expecting clinical, at least not so quick, what 35 odd games still? and as you say, a powerful player. Tremendous.

Have to say was never a fan and wanted him dropped most of last year but has improved out of sight this season. Still not a great disposer but doesnt make me nervous any more.

And seems to have good build on him allowing him to stick his tackles which I love. Bellis needs to learn from georgie on how to lay a tackle as His efforts to tackle just infuriate me as they never stick.

His only 21

People asking for his head last year please step foward

I wanted him axed all year and wouldn't have cared if we traded him.

But right now, as well as being top five in the B&F, I'm suddenly concerned about his contract status.

Is he on beta blockers? Or doing the Dan Jackson thing of not taking caffeine pills pre-game? His new-found composure in all aspects of his game is incredible.

I seriously believe its just the tip of the iceberg with george, He will go through the midfield in time

I think Georgie is rapidly going past the tag of just a small defensive forward.

Tough job picking the best “ small forward “ group ? In saying that most of them will play a lot of midfield time I’d say.

Rioli overall best for mine, Stengle may end up best predominantly small forward .

GF tommorow I think I’d go Rioli, George and Higgins as the 3 ?

I thought he'd be axed but in 2019 because I thought Bolton and co wouldn't be ready before then. I didn't think you could learn poise on the ball and I hate lack of poise in forwards, you only get so many chances in the forward 50. Has lifted his game to another level. Has filled Rioli's role in his absence - it will be interesting to see how we accommodate Daniel when he is fit again - does it impact George's numbers. Yes agree with other posters. Am no longer nervous when George has the ball.

Little bit of growing up, little bit of game time, little bit of self belief, little bit of patience. All the little bits add up n make Georgie a very handy footballer, we're way to impatient n quick to condemn young players learning their craft at the elite level.

12 months ago if Jacob and centered to George for a better angle on the set shot, most of us would have wailed "Why?" and covered our eyes waiting for the kick. Last night I reckon most of us were quite calm when we saw it was in George's hands.

I'm simply amazed how much James has improved!! :clap :clap :clap

If you watch the relay against GWS (Prelim) its amazing he wasn't dropped for the GF.

Now - I would think he's in the top 8 in B&F (2018)

As someone else mentioned - used to cringe when he lined up in front - now you almost sit back and relax!

Please keep it up!!!

(PS - and thanks for getting my girls interested in the Tigers! "James")

I think you need to watch it again. He played CHF, owned front position, was never outmarked and should have had two free kicks within 15 metres of goal to end with 3 snags.
