Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

Will need to improve his conversion rate from set shots a lot to get anywhere near 40 goals in a season last year showed a real weakness. His attempts to pass off or the actual shot at goal was comical at times. Here’s hoping he can because his work rate and ability to bring the ball to ground is first rate

Georges pressure and intensity was massive last night. Opposition defenders will need to bring an extra pair of underwear to games.

Didn't watch last night, but I have found myself thinking after repeated viewings of all our finals games..."how much better would he be if he could hold onto his marks?"

If he sticks even half of the ones he gets his hands to and drops, he will be so much better.

Point Tobes. He’s a beauty.

Bit of kicking practice would be nice too

Take this as a positive or a negative, he already does more goal kicking practice than anyone at training.

Only reason his a premiership player is his outstanding work ethic imho caesar, good on ya Georgie

Look I didn't like his game much last night. He brings the heat no question and good on him for that, but he really does lack the poise needed to be consistent and damaging. The Butler game last night is a good counter point. KMac is playing well. George is the first premiership team player against the wall when the revolution comes. Bolton is still not ready yet so George will get plenty of opportunities to improve/prove the world how good he is.

He works very hard does George an$ with leading pressure acts ea game easy to see why he’s selected . Needs to relax more in his approach to goal , looks like he’s crapping himself

In the 3rd or 4th quarter in JLT 2, Georgy chased someone hard through the middle, there was a turnover, and there was Georgy out in miles of space to take the mark. Works incredibly hard, he's like a dog, keeps going after the ball, comes back panting and slobbering, but is always ready to go again.

Something good or bad always happens when he’s around.

He’s like a fast bowler who goes for plenty but takes wickets

Good call. There is a fair bit of Jack Russell Terrier about him.

Leysy tip to do a Lambert in 18'.

Well perfects not 3rd in a B & F, but say top 7 or 8.
That’s a big call Leysy, no doubt he does his roll each week and coaches love a bloke getting his job done , anyone know where he came last year ?
