Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

I'd read somewhere that he could kick but got himself in a panic and made the wrong decision. Or he kept trying to run at full pace and kick at the same time, rather than take a moment to steady (like Matt white did when he first came to RFC). Be interesting to know what you think, as I think the second scenario can be fixed, but poor kickers rarely ever become good ones.

This is the concern. He's a very good link up defender but he can throw the ball onto the boot at times and turn the ball over..still he really does try to run and create which we don't have enough of.
He deserves a chance however and hopefully makes a good fist of it.

Some whispers he'll make his debut this week. We'll see.
Reckon his a certainity , what's your thoughts on his one on one defensive skills ? ToO

Was about this round last year against the Pies were I think Menadue an McBean debuted and C Ellis came back in , bit of freshness turned the year around

One on one very good, Lots of energy at the contest. Small body but uses it effectively. Seen him make a number of third man up spoils.

So he,ll have a game or 2 then be scapegoated and replaced by Hunt or Morris?

Then why wasn't he given a crack at Garlett instead of Morris?

This farce is almost on par with the McBean farce.

I have heard he is yet to perfect the required star-jump technique. From what my sauce says, he is still landing on his left foot just before the right foot touches the ground. Yes it's a problem, but the coaching body feels confident he can get this just right very soon!

so is george in tonight?

he will be a great player for us I feel.

fast and smart. once he learns composure the sky's the limit.

he and mcbean are the two from the VFL to watch.
