What happen when they decided to draft him? Did they decide to overlook his disposal skills? Let's not draft good kicks. Draft guys that cant kick and then spend 5-6 years trying to find them a position that mitigates their bad kicking skills. Only at Richmond.TJsFurrow said:

Thought Castagna showed plenty to work with at Frankston yesterday despite the team woes and I had him as one of our best.
Rushed disposal could still be an issue but I really like his repeat efforts and link up work. He's also fleet by foot.
He needs to be out of that VFL environment now and be given opportunities in the senior team.

I'd read somewhere that he could kick but got himself in a panic and made the wrong decision. Or he kept trying to run at full pace and kick at the same time, rather than take a moment to steady (like Matt white did when he first came to RFC). Be interesting to know what you think, as I think the second scenario can be fixed, but poor kickers rarely ever become good ones.
