Welcome to Tiger land Riley Collier’Dawkins

Riley will be the player we use going forward to get the ball out to Shai and Sheds, instead of using Shai and Sheds to get the ball out to guys who arent as good with the footy in hand like Grover or Marlion.

Ahhhh, 77% of his disposals were effective, as judged independently by professional statisticians. So 77% of his disposals 'mattered'.

I'd spell it out further, but it's a bit like debating gravity.
How many centre clearances?

I like what Ive seen, I'm not expecting dominance but he has shown more than a few glimpses and they are more than cursory.

He's a pretty handuy clearance player going forward, is an offensive contested mid at the moment but he will improve even more with class and experience around him.

Confidence will allow him to take tackles and draw them and handball free using his height ala Bontempelli or Pendlebury.

Yeah great metric to judge him on, considering the whole team got belted in that regard. Keep dazzling us with your brilliant intellect.
So you're talking STATS. For a guy playing in the middle NOT ONE CENTRE CLEARANCE, I'll leave it at that.

Did he play basketball as a junior?

He had one. Which was more than Martin. Best you do leave it that, as you're embarrassing yourself here.

Have another look at the AFL stats. ZERO, I think you have embarrassing yourself.

He had 1 clearance. Which is one more than Martin. You are narrowing it further to CENTRE clearances (which I presume you are doing to prove some facile point, because you now realise you're Robinson Crusoe on this issue). But well done.

Tracking well. Another tick in a tough game. Again we want snippets of what we can be. The powerful surge run from the middle was something else. Will go better with other inside beasts ( Prestia, Cotchin , Edwards) letting him go more to the outside away from the contest.

I think he looks a really promising player with ball in hand, suspect he has a fair bit to learn about what to do when we don’t have the ball, but I’d back the club in to teach him what he needs to know. Looks a player to me.

Passable effort. No knock (to use a racing term).

Only a few games. Still a wait, watch, and see for me.

The AFL stats has Ross with 1 goal. They stopped updating as well, when they saw the umpires were screwing us. Even they were offended.

Would like him to stay in with our mids coming back. Tracking well and makes good decisions on the field.

Im the dark comes the light at the end of the tunnel.
He is cool with the ball, he is a very good decision maker and he kicks really well.
I would persist with him from now on.
He is in our best 22
