I just don’t get everyone’s thinking on rcd, he’s playing twos, and nowhere near good enough at that level, but for some reason we need to put him in the seniors, to find out whether he's good enough. wtfI don’t care what he is… he needs to be given games to see what he has regardless…the midfield is possibly the worst in the league at the moment so it can’t hurt.
It's good we're not crap at it then. We’re last for clearances in the League. 6th for centre clearances.
Do you know what instructions he's been given by the coaches? He hasn't.
Given that in a pre-season briefing Neil Balme and 2 coaches were explicit that certain players were going to be told to play to set instructions I have belief that RCD is one of these. Nigel, Biggie, Ben and MJR would be others based on what I've seen.Do you know what instructions he's been given by the coaches?
The feedback from Morris says they were at worst, content, with his performance last week. If they wanted him to play a run with role for example, so that he starts Learning better defensive skills, how would you know?
We're using the VFL to develop kids, not necessarily to win flags. We need to see if we get bland feedback in the weekly reports, or positive feedback.
RCD goes well in the middle. Play him there. Maybe for RossIMO some players have to reach a higher level to get a game whilst others do not. RCD is one of these kids. Just get him in and leave him there
On the face of it those stats are ok but the way Sonsie influences a midfield contest compared to R-CD is stark. And then on the weekend against Sandringham.
RCD 21 .......... 5 clearances, 4 tackles.

Yes, Sonsie looks like being a ripper. On the face of it those stats are ok but the way Sonsie influences a midfield contest compared to R-CD is stark.
Sonsie is always on the move when he gets the footy where as Riley is often flat footed.
Sonsie also has a natural ability to pick up possessions with his reading of the play. Riley generally has trouble getting possessions.
He's being overlooked for a reason.
