Welcome to the Tiggers - Daniel Butler

In the vision, it looks like Jones gives him Tai Kwon Do heel of palm to the beak. 100m off the ball, punches him in the head. Doesnt have even a thread of jumper. right hook. face.

thats a week?

Don't get me started on the MRP! Remember Rance got 3 down to 2 weeks for his love-tap to the back of Watts' head last year? While Selwood quite deliberately falls on Mitchell with almost a full body slam and gives him a decent whack to the back of the head/neck with his forearm.

All he cops is just a measly fine, that he probably doesn't even pay.

But the media circus are still going on about Cotch's JP, when he clearly took his eyes off Neale who moved around. I think Cotch was just aiming for his upper-body, and Rance for supposedly diving??

I think 2 to 1 is probably OK for Jones due to having a relatively clean record most likely.

Yep. Doctor had to.remove his nose from his right ear.
Besides that he is fine

As long as they got the nose out. Earwax stinks.

3 to 2 I reckon.

punching a bloke in the face, off the ball, has never been tolerated in footy.

but everything is random and unpredicatable these days.

now that GWS concessions have sort of run out, we dont have any constants in the game.

I've no doubt the small forwards are running out of steam. Very hard to sustain this high pressure gameplan for 4 quarters every week.
It's part of the reason we're fading in games.

Not sure where the four posessions on the AFL stats comes from he had those 15min into the first quarter and had more after that.

Footywire shows him having 3 CP and 7 UP

Looks like he is going backwards in composure. At the start of the year looked like he had time and space. Now, has no comprehension of either.

Kicks with not a ounce of pressure around and has a horrible unawareness of what angle the defenders are coming at him from.

Looks so tired, I’d drop him and give him a week off, no footy. Then back in.

I would have said agree 100%, but his last Q was good. Still think you might be right.

He was lucky he played the last quarter he did; he was really ordinary the rest of the game.

No way he gets dropped though. If LLoyd and Menadue didn't get dropped for the games they played against the Swans there is no way Butler can get dropped from a winning side.

Last quarter saved him.

Watch him try to take off. That initial 5m burst that was so prominent early in the season is now gone. That is why he's getting caught. And that is how he hurts teams.

Rioli and Butler both need a rest.

Looks almost shocked when he gets the ball.
Lacking belief he belongs.
Won't get that till 2018 at the earliest - needs to do some self reflection in the off season.
For now, agree he could do with a spell.
We carrying Butler and Menadue but until someone (Markov) in the ressies demands it, persist.

He doesn't fend off or attempt to break the tackle by swinging his arm. He just seems to hold on to the ball with two hands and try and run through.

yes, but It wasn't that way when he burst on the scene. Looked like a 100 gamer. Its confidence. Woeful today except a few important moments on the last Q.

edit, watching the replay, woeful.
