Welcome to the Tigers Oleg Markov

He won't learn anything if he keeps getting dropped. Give him a good run.

x3, to a point. Looks not far off to me, just two and three grabbing is killing him a bit at the moment.

Will be a good player for us. The early judges are at it again

Plenty on here were lamenting the menadue pick and now he is looking good. It will be the same for Oleg.

and for Corey Ellis as well btw

all at sea last night.
Yep.
Looked like he simply got caught out by the pace n intensity of senior footy. Spent most of the year in the magoos n then missed a game last week because he was emergency n it showed. Hoping the kid gets the next two games against the Aints n Brisvegas just to let him have a chance to settle n play footy.

He was Baron. But I'd remind you of your sage advice re Menadue. There's plenty to work with Oleg. You can't teach that athleticism and size.

Very comfortable giving Oleg games, He is the Houli replacement now and in the future,Kid has pace leap and courage and is a footballer - He will come good and is a beautiful size for the HBF role

Oleg,Connor & Shorty all burn through the backline and create pressure same as the buzz boys up foward

A block of 3 games would be ideal to see where he is at or if he needs to go back. Would give him the next 2 unless he is diabolical against Saint's.

I'm in the keep playing him camp as well.

Drop Rioli or Shank.

:clap :clap :clap to all of this

The commentators mixed him with menadue a couple of times giving menadue credit for markovs good play.

Drop ShEdr?
His hands are too quick for your eyes.
Goal assist and defensive king.

I think is my favourite narrative on PRE over the years whereby only the truly gifted observer can see what a gun Sheds is. ;D

You might finally be on to something :)

There are people on here who thought Rance was a dud in his first 40 games - if I had time (I dont) I could dig up some pearlers to show how some are impatient and totally off the mark.
In 3 years we will be hailing Oleg as a Star.

I think some forget how truly awful Rance was in his first few years. Couldn't take a mark, panicked constantly, couldn't kick and would turn it over.

His development has been astonishing.

He was pretty ordinary in the win against Port but he's pretty unlucky to be replaced by Hunt IMO.
Surprising as Hardwick has reaped rewards this season by sticking with other youngsters until they've found their feet.
Thought he'd at least get another game.

Hasn't Hunt been playing some good football? Not that upset that good play in the twos gets rewarded - lets see how he plays.

As for Oleg - its a tribute to him that he has gotten to the swing position so quickly. Yep he's in and out but its encouraging to see him get a game - even if he isn't quite up to snuff yet.

More worried about CEllis who I thought would be a natural replacement for Bustling Basher given his kicking skills but isn't in the mix.

Like Menadue v swans?

It's a fair question Harry.
Oleg's been pretty (actually extremely) disappointing this year in most of his outings though.
I wanted to see a bit more but yes I'd have played him again ahead of Hunt seeing as the team won well last week.
