Welcome to the Tigers Oleg Markov

One of my biggest disappointments had high hopes for this guy and they're quickly disappearing.

He never earned his way in as a forward so it's very odd why he's seemingly been locked in the role the last couple weeks. Very Morris like.

.
Beavis is such a stooge at times you just have to laugh. He's searching desperately for that illussive medium marking half forward, meanwhile Lloyd is rotting in the magoos.

So true.

Further to that he loves not playing where they are suited most.

Markov must play half back. Not as a lead up half forward.

Next thing he will play Morris in our forward 50

Bit of a forgotten man this year Oleg but VFL performances have been pretty good and he's been close to senior selection.
In Houlis absence, an opportunity opens up for him.
Hopefully can make his mark..

good bump oldie

Markov has two weeks to show something.

Unlike Lennon, his VFL form has been tremendous

yep I'm a fan. Houli out could be just the catalyst MArkov needs to get into AFL form again

Probably unfortunate for Markov that Vlossy is over his shoulder.
Who comes in? Reckon it will be Vloss myself.

Why the panic on Oleg? He will be fine. Ultimately will be able to play all over the ground.

The thing I see in his game that he needs to improve is his composure when he has the ball. This will come with constantly playing in either AFL or VFL.

A bit unfortunate he was the emergency against Carlton, will probably have to back to the VFL this week.

Might be in line. He's close. He's a runner. A runner out a runner in.

Need a runner to replace Bachar so a perfect opportunity to give Lego a couple of runs in the seniors, magoos form was good enough to have him as emergency.

I would bring Markov and Vlastuin in myself for Houli and one of the smalls, probably Butler

Me too, whilst pace will be important against Port (and defensive pressure obviously) but they have some really big boys in their midfield. We should add Vlastuin back through the mid / half back rotation and bring Markov in to run the ball out of defense.

Problem is Bacher is not just a runner. He's a terrific link man and distributor and we're going to really miss him. A lot of our work is set up through him from the back half. Wonder if Grimes could do it? Bacher bashers are going to find out the hard way how important to our team he is. John Longmire said recently he's more worried about tying up Bacher than tagging Martin. Seems a lot of our supporters don't see it or don't want to see it.

agreed Blindy, Bachar's absence will impact the possession chains and linking rebound. big out. the positive is that Short and Ellis have found form and confidence to run.
So it is an interesting conundrum - replace him with Markov or Vlossy.
Would be a great learning opportunity for Mr Lego to play in a dynamic, fast ball-moving, high confidence team (compared to his experiences in 2016)
but we can get mr dependable in with vlossy. and look to win the next 2 weeks.
tough call but i'd go for the long-term and follow Sinners decision -> both in and a young mossie out for a spell

Will see it when he does it in September!

Bachar Houli is a glamour, BT. My point is that we can't replace him with a static. And that we want the running Oleg on the park. Not the trepidatious one. Oleg has got his running righter in the reserves. We'll test it in the ones.

Running.
