Welcome to the Tigers Nathan Broad

Was watching the X on my phone yesterday, Broad seemed to be moving well and like he hasn’t missed a beat, massive improver and a lock in the best 22 now. Very important member of the back half with his versatility.

Said it before but geez the hardness of our back half is underrated

Best part of his game is that he sticks.

His kicking is still a work in progress but he has improved greatly over the past 12 months

Played well and dominant in first game seemed to run out of steam a little in the second.

Played well though good to see him playing some attacking footy.

Will be a key member of the defensive unit again this season.

As good as Rance and Dave have been in the key posts, the ability to cover the Keys, and also to play small and tall and strength in contests of Broad, Grimey and Vlastuin was a major major factor in the Tigers success.

Try as they might opposition teams could not find miss matches in our defensive half, and it was due to the ability of these 3 lesser lights to take on and beat all comers tall and small that helped to get the Tigers to the GF and the Ultimate Prize.

Geez you love to pump Broad up. He played about 3 good games and he's a key in our defensive structure?

Yes, he's got some good athletic traits but lets see him play consistently over a season or two. If his disposal continues to be *smile* he'll never be anything more than a defensive stopper.

If you take Rance out we are back in the pack, as good as Astbury, Grimes & Vlastuin are.

I dont agree that his disposal is *smile*, he occasionally makes the wrong decision but is generally a very capable kick

Good to see him out again tonight. Started a bit flat but then firmed up and offered support. By the end he was bouncing around all over the park and taking matters into his own hands. I gave his game a solid C.

More entendres than a Carry On Movie :hihi

I like him in the team , Adds height Run and has good defensive traits

B: Grimes - Astbury - Broad
HB: Houli - Rance - Vlastuin

This is the backline that should be starting
