Welcome to the Tigers Nathan Broad

All of the defence were fantastic and I love having Broad back in there. I think his height and athleticism is the perfect compliment to the 3 talls and virtually removes the need for Bachar and the other smalls to compete in the air in defence.

I think getting Vlastun right will be a priority , especially now with Broad available , only comes back if there is no risk
 
I think we need to see our Premiership defence back in action before deciding who is in and out. Short is going well but the thought of Flossy & Broad supporting the Holy Trinity is mouth watering.
 
What most might have missed as well is that having Broad in the team actually allows Bachar Houli to play a more attacking game than he normally does
Noticed that Broad covers his team mates players alot when they are seperated due to runs with the ball.
 
Nice touch by Dimma in change rooms after the game where he walked up to broad and said welcome back Broady - massive smile on his face - must be an awesome vibe around the club at the moment
 
Broad had a good game. His speed, size, agility and defensive pressure will ensure he stays in the team. He's another grimes. Bellis is the one that should be nervous.

No way Rainesy Mk II gets dropped.
 
It's amazing how Broad has turned his game round. At the start of 2017 season he was just hanging on to a place on the list by the skin of his teeth. Got injured, did a did of self analysis, got some great coaching and shows how far he has come in a few months. With him and Flossy and the three amigos we have a really solid adaptable defence

even more important was the rehab stuff led by Rob Inness, Broady & others came back from injury bigger, stronger & better
 
There's an old saying. You play the way you train.
Broad won the pre season award for outstanding performance on the track. Plenty left in this guys development. Attitude is first rate and success will follow

I used to hate that saying. I used to absolutely scorch up the track, win every 400 and hit every target.

but I was a really dreadful footballer. :headscratch
 
Some calling for Broad v Short to squeeze Vloss back in. Tough to call that. Broad is a better defender, better in the air, shorts disposal is very good on both sides and vision to kick to advantage far superior.

Tough call. V pies I see broad adding more value in the air.
 
I really see no other option than to drop B Eliis, its unfortunate but we have to be somewhat ruthless.
