Welcome to the Tigers Jacob Hopper

If this trade is not sorted soon I may be forced to check trade radio. That could end badly

Prepare yourself to buying unlimited quantities of Valvoline motor oil, contintental tyres and getting into the Maccas monopoly craze....that's all you ever hear

Leave most clubs in the dark and spring up new rules as pre season begins.

This was Hocking ammo.

Some clubs would have got a heads up for sure as will some this year about the extension of the interchange bench to 5. Heck there is rumours swirling about this but nothing from the AFL.

Media should press hard.

Clubs need to look at their lists and what they do.

Amateur AFL
Nothing amateur about it. It is something else entirely.

I think the bigger issue is how crazy PA are. They have completely and utterly lost the plot.
Desperation from a Desperate coach.
They won't win *smile* with those 3.
Not sure what the media are smoking.
They aren't picking up Judd Bolton & Rance.
It's bullshitt

In what way?

Is that a serious question? Port have sold the farm and given away 2 years of draft picks to bring in a player that is unproven and clearly has an attitude problem (albeit a number 1 draft pick), 4 years and big money to a player who has only played 50 games and has a drug conviction, and paying overs for a depth player that only played 4 games in 2022.

Port are obviously of the view that 2022 was a one-off season and will be back in the finals next year. I’m of the opposite view.

I would argue that the reason they had shown interest in trading for him during the year was that they were the only ones who knew the salary dump option was coming. Courtesy of their CEO who was formerly head of footy ops at the AFL and who had knowledge of such details of player contracts.
Sure, if you want to chase conspiracy theories you can believe that
I am pretty sure that most clubs would know the general salary cap position of others but wouldn’t know all the details of individual player contracts

Have you seen who's steering the ship?
Davis, Koch & Hinkley
Seriously that's a disaster waiting to happen.
How David King thinks Port have killed this trade period has me fked.
What's next Essendon get a A+

JHF I reckon will be an absolute star for many years to come. And now that he is happy at his new club (we assume) he will smash it. Yes they gave up plenty but worth the risk.
Tigers have given up plenty as well but again worth the risk.

Hard to imagine Hopper being a salary dump if they are bringing in Soldo, Bedford and potentially JOM. Maybe they just needed to rid one of the bigger salaries and not both. They are defiantly bringing in a bit of salary too. Bruhn and the other young kid would've been on peanuts anyway
Gws the morons they are have relized, that normally all clubs that rarely have top 10-15 picks in vast amounts go best player available, but this is wrong with gws as they have ended up with 10 genuine mids with little versatility, should of picked Gibcus in 2021 and picked fir needs as their list has become, buy a mid, he'll 3 first round mids are leaving, but still plenty their.

Every list manager would keep a spreadsheet of every other club's list and they would be pretty accurate. There's enough non-identified data provided to get close and conversations with managers etc do the rest.

It's a bit like injuries, everyone tries to keep it secret but everyone knows what is happening.

Who needs Soldo when we can play this bloke in the ruck?

7 Foot 5 in and 144 kegs...that's in the Richard Lounder territory.

Just wait if Benny gets the top gig, then we'll be accused of drafting with inside knowledge of what rules will change.
