Blakey, Gulden, Heeney, Mills, Campbell.Sydney spent 2 years down the bottom in 2019 and 2020, and you know what, it goes that fast people don’t even remember it…!
The comment was made as a example.Hannebury was 28

Dow Samson Mansell Cumberland SAME!Blakey, Gulden, Heeney, Mills, Campbell.
All AFL handouts for the Swans.
We are not bouncing back fast like the Swans.
Have we kept the receipts? The comment was made as a example.
Hopper whilst a couple of years younger did come to us off an injury affected year with his knee.
His first 2 years have been complete busts with multiple soft tissue and knee concerns.
He is actually looking a lot like Hanneburry. Basically his last 3 years have been written off due to injury and we have given up 2 first round draft picks and decent coin for him
Hahaha - yeah our guys only just cover them.Dow Samson Mansell Cumberland SAME!
Geez I hope it doesn't end like that.....Have we kept the receipts?
Our luck! The bloke chooses us instead of Geelong and the kid can't take a trick.
Hopper reminds me of that kid we got from Adelaide in the early 2010's, Chrissiy Knights
To be fair, Sydney had to pay for them. When Heeney was bid on at pick 2 the year they made the grand final, they had to hand over pick 18 to match. The next year when Mills was bid on at pick 3 they had to give up the King's ransom of picks 33, 36, 37 and 43. In 2018 they were forced to trade out pick 13 for picks 26 and 28 so they could match the Blakey bid at pick 8 and trade with West Coast to get Rowbottom at 25.Blakey, Gulden, Heeney, Mills, Campbell.

This should be something the media talks about. Just outrageously unfair. To be fair, Sydney had to pay for them. When Heeney was bid on at pick 2 the year they made the grand final, they had to hand over pick 18 to match. The next year when Mills was bid on at pick 3 they had to give up the King's ransom of picks 33, 36, 37 and 43. Gulden was everyone else's fault, letting him get through to pick 32 in a dud draft before Geelong bid. I can't find what they gave up to match Campbell at 5 but I bet it was at least pick 25.
Swans philosophy very very obvious then. Get the best players possible no matter the cost.To be fair, Sydney had to pay for them. I think you missed the point.Swans philosophy very very obvious then. Get the best players possible no matter the cost.
Swans gave up 33, 36, 45 and 52 for Braeden Campbell and got back 57, 117 and 120.To be fair, Sydney had to pay for them. Couldn't do any worse as we are at death point.Hopefully a new strength and conditioning team can get him right for 2025 and beyond. He's a very good player when fit - albeit not often enough so far. Here's hoping.
So picks 2, 3, 3, 8, 25, 57, 117 and 120 for picks 13, 18, 33, 33, 36, 36, 37, 43, 45, 52.Swans gave up 33, 36, 45 and 52 for Braeden Campbell and got back 57, 117 and 120.
They shoulda done it the other way around. What year was that? ;DSwans gave up 33, 36, 45 and 52 for Braeden Campbell and got back 57, 117 and 120.
Yes unfortunately. The scans showed the hammy isn't healing as they had hoped.Did hopper have a set back?
He’s now back to 4 weeks
Let him fully recover.Did hopper have a set back?
He’s now back to 4 weeks
Then we would have 4 rolled gold stars.Hahaha - yeah our guys only just cover them.
Wish we were given 4 rolled gold stars. We'd be in the premiership race up to our necks.
