C ellis is ahead of him . Wish C Ellis was out there tonight instead

Really? If he is, its not by much. Splitting hairs to be honest. Thats just how poorly both are travelling.

Give the guy a break. He is a tiger, has talent lacking confidence and belief knows he's on thin ice in the best team in the comp. Love the young man whether he makes it or not he is living the dream playing for our beloved tigers!

Correct he shouldn't be in the 1s atm... he might still make it as a player but he's nowhere near AFL atm

Struggled, looked like a deer in the head lights. I want to see him make it, as we need his outside run.

didnt even seem that quick tonight.

Jarmain Jones blew him off a couple of times. But maybe JJ is lightening?

Exactly. Not ideal conditions for him tonight. Not hisbest position either. Granted he was poor tonight but jesus guys, give him a chance. Has been good in the seniors in the past and is the kind of winger we need longer term. Kicks it long and runs all day like the wind. Not everyone is a world beater from day one. Look at Isacc whatsisname from the Hawks. He wasn't even drafted until he was a few years into the system, looks great now after a few years though.

Not day 1.
Year 3 ? Or 4?

Wouldn’t be in the top 5 in pace at the club, neally slow in terms of footy pace, in saying that though it was his best AFL game this season, in saying that was possibly his last game at AFL level for the Tiges

This is what I don't get. He is quick but he doesn't use it. Saw it in previous games too.

Should have sat him on the bench after the first quarter and played a rotation down. It was like Geelong had an extra player when he was on the ground.

Just horrid. Not up to AFL standard. Couldn't get near it in a low pressure game against the Saints and was even worse tonight.

Next.

expertly summed up, x2.

Seen enough. A very good VFL and that’s it imo.

After Townsend in 2017, I won’t completely write any one off.

But I agree St Kev. Not for me. By a long way.

On reflection, he found a surprising amount of ball tonight. But that’s probably only because Geelong were more than happy for it to be in his hands.

Still had a shocker though. Tradeable.

thought Connor fought out the game well, and attacked the contest and got more of the ball than usual
