Got lots n lots of quality toys this kid n showed us plenty of them today.
Gunna enjoy watching this kid grow n develop, he'll be a bloody good player the way he's tracking.
Grow up and DEVELOP not often used in the same sentence when referring To Richmond

Yeah that's me too but he looked great today.

Great to see a kid come on.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

Today he was back playing like he did in pre season. Confident, good skill with an element of toughness. He started to get lost before his break. He will be a good player

Yeah, bloody weird that, DEVELOP.
I look at the team n Tross has developed into a gun defender, Griff's still developing into an all ground key tall, Rioli, C Ellis, Mendoo, Shorty all seem to be developing into fairly handy players. Dusty's developed into an awesome beast who owns games rather than highlights n qtrs. Flossy, Grub, Grigga n Shed have all developed into fine players. Even bloody Hamster looks like he's slowly developing into ? something competent. Lloydy, Snipper n KMac seem to have developed ok as well.

Bloody useless mob at Richmond wouldn't have a clue about developing players, just leave it all to the players to try n figure out for themselves.
Now if only we could develop a game style that promotes a bit more open n free flowing attacking footy instead of that crabbing contested over possession fumbly crap that somehow crept up on us over the years.

Looked comfortable at AFL level today

im not sure the opposition was really AFL level yesterday. but he did play well, and the rest looks to have done him some good.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

Explain why TV didn't dominate against Opposition that wasn't AFL level then. Well done CM.

Liked him a lot. Could get him a Rising Star nomination.

Yes! It might, Carn. Top get.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

Too early to call him our best pick outside the first round under hardwick?

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

Been a real positive this season. Prototypical modern footballer.

Yep. Not because he hasn't got the makings but we have cruelled others who looked equally likely.

Perfect situation for him to get some confidence against Lions as the intensity against top teams was too much too soon for him. But a nice step forward.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

Really enjoyed his game; there's a lot to like about him. May have been the opposition but looked to have his confidence back. His run, decision-making and kicking all good. Pleased to see it because clearly Freo's Blakely is going to be quite a player.

Thought Menadue was just starting to show a bit more size too; finally signs of getting a body for AFL.

And early in the season. I believe he needed the break. Still very skinny.
