Welcome to the Tigers - Connor Menadue

I’m wrapt for the kid. Really solid game today.
I loved seeing the ball in his hands as you could see that he used it so well.
He adds a bit of versatility as he can be used in defence, wing or up forward.
If he keeps this style up, he’ll be very difficult to replace when the A listers return.
Well done Connor.

We shouldn’t expect Menadue to play like Captain Blood or Tony Free but more a Mitch Duncan or Issac Smith roll.
He can hit targets. Let’s wait and see

Showed a lot more confidence tonight, in saying that though a few more games like that and his confidence should go through the roof, I’m very hopeful I got him wrong

The best thing were his two intercepts in traffic which got the ball our way and we goaled both times I think.

And that late tackle as a Freo bloke was heading for goal

such a good game!

:clap

Well done :clap :clap :clap

Please keep it up!! (you ain't getting dropped - so do it again next week!)

New Wave.

Great to see Connor. Well done. I never wrote you off but intended to add a post in defence last week and didn't get to it.

As others have said, break-out game. You can perform at this level. Your skill-set is exactly what we need: speed, smarts, sharp kicking.

Showed courage and hardness too. Just a naturally attacking, creative player; not best as a defender IMO.

Maybe prudent for Mr.B put a few bucks in a jar to cover his London Tavern pledge?

I'll throw a few buck in it.

Ive been pretty hard on the kid.

Been a fan and never lost faith.

Nothing like old mate Spook though.

He's schooled everyone on here with his knowledge again!!

Loved him as a junior and had hopes until this year and have wavered on him becoming best 22 player, His best game for Richmond but far from convinced he will actually live up to his junior potential

fingers crossed

A really solid game. Getting used to the tempo and finding a bit more of the ball.

He has the tools, just needs continuity and confidence.

I really want to see him backing himself in more and using his pace to cut back inside.
