Welcome to the Tigers - Connor Menadue

He showed a good deal of poise and his kicking was very good. Hope he keeps it up cause he could be a dangerous player for us if he comes on.

With Shai having a breakout game and Connor really contributing, this victory against Freo in the west could be season defining for those two guys... and for the team.

Not sure if I’m been to harsh on the kid, however he got his chance and played his best game of footy 3 weeks a go, then backed it up with an average game and then dropped again to a poor game, biggest disappointment of the night for me, was really hoping he’d turned the corner. We have better options, I’m putting a line through him and hoping he can help the VFL lads win a flag as I’d now rather give games to Naish, Turner, RCD ( different type ) Short an Markov

Thought he had some interesting touches. Didn't mind his game BUT in a good team like RFC he will still be one of the first changed out when the injury gods give over.

I really felt for him while he just watched tipinwuti tackle dusty.

It will be embarrassing on his tape.

And cost his spot.

Agree on all fronts.

There were at least two other Tigers in the vicinity. Vlastuin was closer, and more culpable.

The last two weeks Connor has been asked to spend plenty of time forward, a role he's unfamiliar with even at VFL or TAC level. He hasn't disgraced himself, but he's not a natural at it, either.

Yeah felt for him last night. Second half seemed to be playing a lead up forward role and having to fly for marks, especially in the last quarter when lynch was off

Fair enough. I only saw it once in real time and i do conformation bias pretty well.

Agree hes playing a tough role, but i still think hes the obvious out

There's nothing elite about him, and unfortunately for him there are others to return who have tricks that he doesn't.

We have no lost causes to delist, so he's good trade bait. Bulldogs and Suns will be happy to pick up some more Tiger scraps in October.

Will be dropped this week unfortunately but he was played out of position and the conditions didn't suit him.

Conditions and position didn't really suit but he surely gets dropped this week if Cotchin available.

23 Touches two weeks ago, 23 touches in two weeks. Is this actually improvement?

Houli wins BOG on a night that shouldn't suit.

There is no reason why Rioli is a million times better without the ball than Menadue. Way too many excuses.

Has had a couple of good games this year but don't think we can carry him next year, too many others have shown much more improvement in a much shorter timeframe.

Naish has been playing better than Menadue all year in the VFL and when Naish eventually debuts, I can't see Menadue getting a senior game.

Might have moved himself ahead of Markov in the order, although Oleg has another year contracted (which doesnt mean he will stay either).

Naish and Turner are not the players he wants coming up alongside.

When Cotchin and Lambert are fit two players will have to come out of last night’s side. Pending other injuries there is little doubt Menadue will be one of them. Really don’t know who the other will be.
