Easily in the best three tonight with the 2 GWS lads. We’ve missed him. And still under appreciated on here.

Turned the ball over 4 times out of 30 disposals. That's not too bad, considering Oliver did it 9 times out of 31 disposals,.
Short had 644metres gained.

He's not our problem. If you're going to attack with the ball, you're going to make mistakes.

Just not a mid. That was most of the debate on here recently- and those saying not a mid have won that debate

I’ve been a defender all along, love Shorty

Just a couple of critical turnovers in the context of the first half
 
Provides great run but his mistakes are just crucial as they usually end up in opposition goals. For an experienced player makes too many deer in headlight mistakes. Needs to clean those up

The handball missed target was a shocker. We were out and a simple skill error coughed up a goal at a time of momentum.

But agree overall a good game.back. we look a different team with his run and kicking
 
Typical Short game. Lots of great support running. Lots of metres gained. Critical turnovers resulting in goals. Missed gettable shot from 50 ( that would have put us 9 goals to 5 up) at a crucial stage.

His supporters will rave how good he was and his detractors will highlight the bad.

It was a typical mixed bag short game.

Agree. I am not his biggest fan but he got us moving from the back half. Something we lacked the last few weeks.

He actually was involved in Dees 2nd, 3rd and 5th goals watching the replay. There was another in the 3rd (panic handball).

Just watching him now miss from 55 directly in front.
 
Question for the Short fans - who had more score involvements for us - vlastiin or short?

Short may have had more score involvements for the Dees than us.
 
We look so much better with him in the side. While his foot skills are not elite, he stands head and shoulders above 95% of the side when it comes to disposal.

He';s just constantly in motion, the link between our defence and midfield that we were trying to use Hugo in. Short showed how important he is for that role. Not sure we have anyone on the list that can perform that role anywhere near to Shorts ability.

Yep. Shorty n Sausage should be our two running back flanks, both capable of slicing n dicing coming out of defence.
