Agree worst I've seen for a while. Only an exterior view but that wasn't the game of a player fully invested. Maybe a decision has been made.

I didn’t say he couldn’t have stayed. He could have stayed if he wanted to but he asked to leave and he was out of contract. He got a good offer and what he considered a better chance to get a game consistently.
It’s just normal football business. We wanted him to stay and he got a better offer elsewhere and if you recall our salary cap was bursting at the time.

One thing you can never question with Bakes is his desire and it was the same on Saturday
Butler's been hopeless last couple of years. Watched him plenty. We would have been stuck with yet another average small forward. Higgins is the one kicking ass.
It's the standard PRE recipe. If you're an experienced player, one bad game, you're out the door or back to reserves. 10-game youngster, well you better be a superstar by now or out the door.
