Welcome Hugo Ralphsmith

What’s his best position, wing for mine?
Winger/HF

Kid has a very good leap , speed and endurance and can also take a nice high mark which he has not displayed just yet
Im Hoping he also gets to develop his inside game and can run through there .

I really have high hopes for this kid and have since his draft year , Was over the moon when we called out his name

Hugo is a sign that our rebuild is well underway and if he steps up this year then we are tracking well.

I hope once he builds his tank he plays the Lambert role - can kick a goal, can mark, has some speed and knows where to run.

Just reading through threads and have had a beautiful thought .

Just imagine the melts from the AFL community if say

RCD , Ross , Sonsie , Dow , Gibcus , Brown all develop really well and become best 24/25 players this year and are doing what the Sydney kids or the Port kids did last few years

Select the next 2 KPF's with these 2 selections and a mid with our 2nd

Riewoldt , Cotchin , Caddy retire and leave $1.5 mil to get a free agent

With Balta and Gibcus on the list, it's the #2 or #3 key talls that's needed.
Which are gettable at 19 and 20.

* Miller and Biggie might make it

Comes in if Aarts or Picket play ordinary games/have n impact. Both might make way R2 for Hugo and KMac if fit
The reserves are getting smashed, playing our last preseason game on match day is really dumb. Hugo misses a week of footy when he could use it the most and we clearly need him in either team.

Its not inconceivable that the 3 new boys), could well be first t 23 players by the end of this season all things considered.

Brown will likely be in as soon as he's ticked the boxes and I'm tipping it wont be long, the talk is we are keen to put him out there.

The new draftees this year are gonna put some serious acid on the likes of RCD, Dow Ross and Stack and they will bring it quickly by all reports.

Poor game. Being as outside as he is, needs to tidy up his disposal otherwise he will be a liability.

I have been reporting Hugo's poor disposal all pre-season it's a shame he confirmed it in game

That’s not good news either - he wasn’t to bad in the Devonport game but he did handball and carry a lot.

He looked to hesitate a few times tonight also.
