Plough said yes. 100% we would have.

If we won the game to St Kilda in the last round (we were ahead late in the last).

Chimp would have gone to West Coast.
Yeah heard that!

Blessed we were for things to have turned out the way they did for us.

I saw on the news something I didn’t realise, or blocked from my memory, he was a Geelong supporter. Makes it all the sweeter what he’s done against them

I don't think much would have changed really. We would just be celebrating our 3x premiership captain Cale Morton's 300th this week instead.

Great pic.
Now that's a bunch of Richmond men!

Captain Blood looks like he is trying edge KB to the side and get his head in the shot.

If my Maths is correct, 1954 Games, 2397 Goals.

Titch 303/189

Captain Blood John Raymond Dyer 311/443

Hungry 403/778

The Chimpah 299/138

St. Francis Bourke 300/71

Jackmond 338/778

Rolled Gold Richmond Royalty. :clap2

(So sad Cambo, Richo, and the original big shorts from Merbein couldn't get there!)

Aston -19 and counting.

There is an article there. It's just not front and centre for easy access and you have to go searching for it!! It is under AFL noticeboard - almost at the bottom of the page.

It doesn’t matter. We know.

With you all have enjoyed the read and have been well reminded of his greatness.
Hope two things occur in the now and a few more later. One would be that he is honoured with the Captaincy on Saturday night and the other that he is named to the few who will join the interview process that will lead to the appointment of our next coach.

I think we would all feel more confident of the result in both contests knowing that Trent was leading the way.

Im a 21 year member, many of those years i lived abroad, only moving back last year. I watch every week and have passed my love to my two boys. Grew up in Caulfield but now on Sunshine coast, i will bring the kids to the Gabba in 2 weeks for training and the game and i have one thing i have really wanted to say to Trent since 2017 GF (I flew back for that game, one of the best days of my life). Thank You!!!

Sometimes theres not enough words to express your gratitude and thats certainly how i feel, but im guessing this will be the last time i see Cotch, jack and Dusty all on the same oval together.

According to Wallace, yes.

We were never taking Kruezer.
As I’ve said before , Plough is incorrect , I’d say Plough says that just to cover his own ass as he’s done with a few things over the years.

Francis Jackson said at Punt rd oval the morning of the draft that he believed Carlton would take Kreuzer , however if they didn’t we would, if we had pick 1 they would have taken Kreuzer .

Miller tried to get Judd and Mitch Morton and offered WC pick 2, 18, 19 and 35 , WC were actually happy with it

Yes Miller wanted Scott Selwood not Alex Rance

id say things turned out ok

Thanks Brightside for that!

That’s how I had remembered it, reading about and told.

I wanted to call in and say to Wallace you are BS artist ( apologies) but he is, but I then queried myself and didn’t trust myself that I remembered it right.

I thought of buying this as I have one similar for Dusty which my wife bought for me after the 20 GF against the Cats.

$660. I really thought about it.

There was only one.

Good article about the champ in the sun today.

Says he is still not decided on playing next year.

Bit sad to read his feelings about the Brownlow the AFL would have been better off just not awarding it that year.

He's an unbelievable revisionist is plough. Never listen to much of what he says when speaking historically. He loves trying to claim credit for things he had no involvment in. The guy spent years in solariums, says enough about his vanity.
