Gill's brother is an unabashed Chimp fan. Time we used a some of our Premiers tokens and got him to put together a "low-lights" package showing just how bad it has been. Who is Chimps manager. Pull some bloody strings Tigers!

Geelong will be hoping to get away with holding Trent like Port did. Can't rely on the umps, if that happens again the skipper & team will need to find a way to shake it off..

A tigets needs to show sime form of intent beforr ball is bounced , yes start a fight ...

When you've got 30 or more players around a stoppage, how are the umps meant to officiate? There would be a free at every ball in, or ball up. It would speed up the game if they were all called, but the public would go nuts.

How many coaches will tolerate their players giving away 50 free kicks in a game? The holding would soon stop.

Free kicks generally give the officials the power to shape the game as they want it to be shaped. If you want to clear congestion, use the existing rules to help clear congestion, it will soon be gone.

If the umpires penalise Ben Jacobs for holding five times in the first quarter of North’s next game, what would Scott tell him at quarter time?

Cotch's first game was against Geelong at the G in exactly the same conditions.
And he played extremely well, considering we had a *smile* side and they were very strong.

I came onto Cotchs thread to make the exact same point!!! Spent the last 5 minutes on AFL tables making sure that memory wasn't playing tricks.
Was round 8 and it was the little bit of joy to take from another Geelong beating, knowing we had a star in the making. Goal up at half time turned into 5 goal loss. 50 to 9 third quarter said it all.
By contrast don't think I had as much confidence in Jack R. Goalless from 6 disposals in his 13th game 12 goal career.

The first game of a champion is always stamped in my head.
Like the first time pettifer waltzed onto the Telstra dome and Brad McGwilliam at football park

Was also the game that Shedda was ragdolled by Milburn I think.
Pretty sure that was a night game and Cotch debuted in a day game. Weather was *smile*, thougn. Cotch joined the goal with first kick club.
