Now Choco, Cotch did have both hands on the footy at the moment his shoulder ACCIDENTALLY contacted Dylan's jaw! Have a look at the pic in today's Age http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-grand-final-match-review-panel-to-decide-tiger-skipper-trent-cotchins-fate-20170925-gynzgz.html
Cotch's aggressive attack on the footy has been his greatest asset this year and he made the correct decision to get his body between Dylan and the footy rather than let Dylan get an easy possession. We're not playing netball so accidental head knocks may still happen and Cotch had no alternative but interfere with Dylan's attempt to take possession. Choco is too close to Dylan and has lost touch with the highly contested modern game.
Schwarz and Allen on SEN are just as bad saying if it had been Round 6 he would have got a week! On what basis can they say that? MRP said he had no case to answer bc he was going for the footy so how can that be different in Round 6? Gee I hope there aren't any idiots in the crowd that will boo Cotch when he goes near the ball on Sat. Great to see some toughness and tenacity coming back into our team, we've been playing like pussy cats for too long.
I can sense a bit of Graeme Richmond coming back into our team, fantastic.
