Yobbo also made a thinly veiled reference to the "corruption" by saying that the AFL Operations Manager, Andrew Dillon, would be rapt as he is a mad Richmond supporter :eek: He as good as accused him of interfering in the MRP process. When Francis Leach questioned him on the insinuation Yobbo just said "I didn't say that; where did I say that?"

Mmmm not sure why you'd even bring it up Yobbo................

In any case, it didn't stop the flog Dillon from making the call for us to wear the canary jumper on Saturday.
 
I wouldn't mind BETTING that Yobbo done some dough backing GWS to beat us and he is dirty, that's what it sounds like to me campaigner !!!

Mark Robinson is clueless. Can't even put a sentence together without mumbling and bumbling. How do guys like him get media gigs?

Didn't he have a dig.

Cotchin should have been rubbed out.

Anyone ask how Shiel is? Felt cheated he said. Only played a quarter.

Missing Mumford, Cameron and list Shiel.

Cotchin caused the concussion.


But he is wearing his Richmond cap, dusty and Grimes badge.

He said callers will call in and winge but fair is fair. Cotchin went to bump while Shiel was reaching for the ball.

Common sense. The football world should be rejoicing regardless who you barrack for. No player should miss a GF for that incident. Instead the media will go on and on and on and on about it...instead of focussing on the great build up we are about to experience.

Exactly. Who wants a gun player missing out on a GF for that incident for ANY team. There's a lot of hate for Richmond building. A lot of hate for Cotchin - fancy taking away Watson's tainted Brownlow? Where's the hate for Sloane who's incident was arguably worse. Everyone used to love the Tigers. Why? Because we were easy beats. Now were seeing success and opposition supporters are seeing that huge supporter base they're getting jealous. The more people hate the better we must be. So hate away.
 
Cotchin has copped his fair share of bagging over his career and that's essentially why people wanted him rubbed out. First it was the Carlton mob who cheered after 'winning' the Kreuzer Cup, then it was the Essendon supporters filthy at losing the Brownlow for drug taking, then came the scores of people who took pride in labeling Cotchin soft and easily tagged out of a game. The problem here isn't about the incident, it's about how they perceived Trent Cotchin as a weak leader & powder puff princess. Now that he's on the cusp of being a premiership captain & finals gladiator they can't bear to admit they were wrong.
 
Who cares what other people think, the people that matter deemed it not an issue. We are already starting to get back that Richmond hatred that we had from people all those years ago when we were successful

Speak for yourself ... he spoke his mind about what he thought about it and he was right, Cotch didn't have his arms out to pick up the ball. Cotch was a little bit lucky that he wasn't rubbed out, just as Shiel was a little bit unlucky to get concussed.

Chocco was shafted by the club last year, so to have his support is pretty remarkable really, he was extremely bitter about it and his coaching career is now pretty much shot.
