Training For Redemption in 2022

4:22 - 5:23 if you're interested. Key quotes "I Can't believe some idiot came up with that idea in the first place..." "The bloke on the mark has to let the guy play on for some reason"

Love ya Balmy!

Balme is the best at cutting into the most logical, common sense point of an issue. It's common for people to lose perspective getting stuck in the weeds, while Balme's specialty is investigating trees with a magnifying glass and making sense of what he saw from the viewing platform over the forest.

Just a had looksee at the photos of our training last Saturday.
Very obvious are the leg injuries on some of the players.
Shai has a big bandage on his left leg.
Nank has a huge bandage on his left leg.
Soldo has some sort of protection on his right leg.
Pickett has support on his right knee.
Does anyone on here have any updates on these "injuries?"

I saw Shai's and thought maybe it was a fresh tattoo he was protecting?

both Nank & Ivan looked to have shin guards
Quite common for ruckmen to wear shin guards. I imagine plenty of times they'd have midget rovers running head first into their shins.

That'd make him a magician not a commentator if he can do that.
They've seemed to found that magician.
Full length season/Curtain raiser to mens game/equal pay.
Be a miracle more than magic if we still have an 18 team mens comp.

I have said quite a few times along the way in the training thread that Dowy misses some very easy targets, latest "Summer Snippets', confirms that kicking efficiency is what he needs to improve.

Its the disappointing thing about his recruiting; wasn't like he didn't have a brother already in the system butchering the ball.
To be fair, Richmond had a lower priority on KE during our pressure game phase, to great effect (3 outa 4).
The Stand Rule has changed the game, and subsequently our recruiting focus to a greater priority on KE.

Dow can still be a good player but I can't see his kicking ever being a strength.
