Training for DRAFT PICKS!!!!

Other teams have played played plenty of scratch matches for a couple of weeks now whereas Tige's have been easing into it and are yet to do a full one.
Lockdown and any extended training restrictions might catch us a bit short on.
Same as last season.

Plenty of our players looking very thin from the pictures being posted. Astbury never seen him skinnier. Must be looking to as a club to be even more manic and run teams into the ground.

Could be a bit to do with the Interchange cap as well. That IMO will help us grind teams into the ground & run all over them

Mates of mine manage the caravan park the boys stayed while up in Bright. They were described as being a group of 'gorgeous gentlemen' and 'very giving of their time'. For *smile* sake, I love this group us supporters have!!!!!!

Was speaking with some guys involved at a NAB league club and they rank it is skills, running, strength. In terms of running, improving it is a mix of getting fitter, running efficiency and weight. Losing weight is pretty easy.

Wasn’t sure if it was AFL training or Aus Open doubles try out.

Bash looked 5 kegs lighter.

im pretty sure when Tim Kelly left sth freo,

Marlion went from a 16 possession HBF'er

to a 25 possession mid.

I agree he's great on the wing, and its great watching him glide.

But I'd love to see him in the guts
Id love to see him in the mid rotations too but he isn’t a mid at his age and at AFL level. Keep him fit and healthy and let him patrol the wings. His efforts on the wing in the prelim and GF where enormous. RCD and Ross are our next mids

Yep, Astbury is looking great, he's a bit like his cattle dog up on his farm, all ribs and prick

Please, don’t tell me Terry Wallace is back at the club.

Just do what we've been doing for the past 4yrs.Rinse & Repeat.
If Covid couldn't dethrone us nothing will(for now).

We had the training under our belt before Covid restrictions came in last year, even if only a 5 day lockdown I expect the AFL will probably continue training groups for a bit longer.
For mine I'm expecting a longer Victorian lock down than 5 days.

For me there are a couple of scenarios that could very well play out. It would not surprise to see a team that went deep last year to have a catastrophic injury run, especially one of the teams with less conditioned athletes, like St Kilda.
Would be perfect (for a number of reasons) if this could be Geelong.
