yep, death riding the pussies should be fun this yearWould be perfect (for a number of reasons) if this could be Geelong.

We've been one of the better sides at finishing out late in qtrs and games over recent years so wouldn't think that going back to full qtrs should have to much impact. The other big X factor is what impact the return to full quarters after short ones will have.
Unprecedented in the game, so hard to say if players will have regressed in capacity which may take some time to adjust again.
Your right by the looks of it.More than 5 days. However i was talking more about game plan etc.All bar the newbies would know it down to a tee and its not as if they're pushing for selection. We had the training under our belt before Covid restrictions came in last year, even if only a 5 day lockdown I expect the AFL will probably continue training groups for a bit longer.
For mine I'm expecting a longer Victorian lock down than 5 days.
Was locked down n bored shitless yesterday, so I decided to have a little rummage around on the computer n have a look at the Moggies playing list so I could do some in depth ( 2cans ) analysis n then hang some *smile* on my Moggies younger Bro.The watch would be Bris/Gee as they have barely had any injury trouble the last couple of yrs so we'll see just what depth they really have.
Yea I think we missed that in the HA the ability to work a side over and really put them to the sword as they fatigue in red time , longer suits usWe've been one of the better sides at finishing out late in qtrs and games over recent years so wouldn't think that going back to full qtrs should have to much impact.
Combining the qtrs length with the reduced interchange could have a heavy impact on some teams though and I'm thinking teams are going to need some serious ability to rotate their heaviest running players through the forward or back pockets for some extra rest time. Fortunately for us, we've already got a very long list of running n swarming type players who should be able to cover the distances required.
Moggy fans like talking up their deep list of youngsters who are ready to be stars, once they get pickedWas locked down n bored shitless yesterday, so I decided to have a little rummage around on the computer n have a look at the Moggies playing list so I could do some in depth ( 2cans ) analysis n then hang some *smile* on my Moggies younger Bro.
Rarely seen a list so unbalanced in age n with so few youngsters coming through n getting some game experience..
Massive core of regular seniors players in the 28 to 32 y.o. bracket.
Barely a handful of regular seniors players in the 23 to 27 y.o. bracket.
A couple of youngsters U/23 who play regular seniors.
Then there's a massive log jam of about 20 players from new recruits to approx 25 y.o. who have barely seen a handful of senior footy are doubtful to ever be regulars.
Moggies cop a few injuries this year to senior players n there won't be much to chose from as replacements.
Moggies don't win this years flag n there'll be some nightmare years ahead of them.
Good work CaesarDue to Covid restrictions I didn't hang around and watch the 4 groups staggered over 4 hours but I did do my own hourly shuttle runs from my place to PRO to see who was what in what group, (each group trained for an hour but as mentioned i didn't stay and watch).
Whether group participants give any further clarity to positional structure thoughts or pecking order who knows:
Group 1 Defenders:
DTLD
Grimes
Tigga
Shorty
Balta
Bakes
Marlion
Broady
Egg
Huggo
Group 2 Midfield:
Nank
Shedda
Caddy
RCD
Lambo
Dow
Graham
Cotch
Ross
Shai
Kamdyn
Group 3 Forwards:
Dusty
Lynch
JR8
CJ
Georgie
Aarts
Drioli
Mabs
Garth
JNR
Group 4 The Leftovers:
Biggie
Miller
Will Martyn
Naish
Galluci
Samson Ryan
Green
Mansel
That leaves the following players unsighted which doesn't mean they didn't do a rehab session earlier:
Prestia
Bachar
Cumberland
Soldo
The only one of note not with main groups was Prestia who was due to resume with main group this week? after mild ankle issue.
That's it until all the boys are back training together.
Cheers
I don't care what they say about you, Caesar. I think you're alright!Due to Covid restrictions I didn't hang around and watch the 4 groups staggered over 4 hours but I did do my own hourly shuttle runs from my place to PRO to see who was what in what group, (each group trained for an hour but as mentioned i didn't stay and watch).

1st attempt so yesGood work Caesar
Did you get a PB on your shuttle run
Nicholas Couroupis has been missing from the last 2 training sessions I have seen and Dimma yesterday said we had 4 guys trialing with us, if that includes Egg? that would mean:Thanks caesar
I was researching my above post when you posted your training report. Do you know whether Nick is still training with us?
Garth as a forward? It sort of worked briefly in the VFL some time ago.
You’d have to time your run to get the traffic lights outside the Royal?1st attempt so yes
Traffic lights are too far. He’s not an endurance athlete. You’d have to time your run to get the traffic lights outside the Royal?
