As far as reports go, that's about a 9/10. Very good, young man!**Note: Main training was brought forward to today, (Wednesday), so if anyone was planning on dropping by tomorrow I wouldn't!
Anyways I lucked into today's session on my morning walk.
As Tim Livingston said in his vid, they are gradually cranking things up increasing Match Play.
Today was 4 x 15min Match Play.
Interestingly after each goal rather than restarting from the centre square it was done with a boundary throw in from the wings.
Not Participating: Cotch, Lambo, Prestia, Garth.
Positional: Caddy wing, Marlion HB, Dow HF.
The stars: Dusty, (BOG, a lazy 3? with multiple goal assists), waxing lyrically with Shai who was also very very good.
Ruck and around the ground domination by Nank.
Kamdyn and Caddy impressive on the wings.
DRioli continues good form.
Shedda keeps on keeping on.
George lively.
Grimes and Tigga providing the usual blanket, Tigga aggressive overlap running.
Egg provided a lot of rebound, (we might indeed go back to that Well especially wth Bachar struggling).
RCD best of next in line mids today: You do notice when he bursts away and is getting better at breaking the tackles of men which I am sure he was doing as a junior big bodied mid. Two strong tackles one rewarded bringing down Shai the other penalized as a sling on Egg but liked the aggression all the same.
Ross next best in this category.
Surprise: Biggie nullifying Jack.
Frustrated: JR8 pinged twice, both for studs up on Chol and another on Biggie, (trying to move them under the ball with feet in marking contest as he couldn't get above them vertically). Both players went down holding their back, Jack showed no sympathy or concern at all
The winner of the positional moves was Caddy, Marlion and Dow were very quiet.
After pumping up Mabs the last couple of posts, except for one strong mark and goal didn't do much.
One glimpse only : It may have been his only touch but on a full pace lead with DTLD right on his hammer Samson Ryan takes a one grab mark.
Am starting to drop off Green for one of the vacant spots?
That's about all she wrote.
Cheers
Far better than the knuckleheads in the media.
One minor criticism - George lively? Tells me nothing. He's always lively. Sometimes kicking out on the full, or points, handballing to blokes feet, laying tackles and kicking a few goals. What did today bring?
