Training For 2023

Riley Collier-Dawkins was a ball magnet.
Gun inside mid.
Dimma and Timmy L will have to adjust the magnets.
Hopefully, the recruitment of Tim and Jacob will partly compensate for the loss of Riley.

Seriously, some of you guys writing off Brown already need to calm your farm. Long way to go on his journey. Yes, clearly needs to work on his endurance but that will come. He has several elite traits that’ll hold him in really good stead at the next level. For those who were asking about his speed, he’s elite. He’d be one of the quickest on our list.
Honestly some of you (especially one) need a break from posting on this site because writing off kids after one season is a disgrace!

Shai had similar knocks on him in his first year I think. It’s those elite traits that make him worth the wait. Risk/reward scenario.

Brown's been extended for 2 years to the end of 2025. They wouldn't do that if they doubted his commitment or ability to get to the required level.

I had plantar fasciitis this time last year, really aggravated it playing golf, and could barely walk around New Years. Went and saw a young podiatrist and did a
Combination of the shock treatment, (from memory it was 4-5 sessions once a week, stretches 3-4 times a day and minor modification/orthotics in my work
Shoes, all good within 2-3 months. No problems whatsoever since. My step mum had it years ago and it dragged on for more than 6 months.

Having had plantar fasciitis (a real bugger of a thing) my advice is, be very careful walking or running on sand. I got it from walking in sand dunes, looking for a fishing spot to go beach fishing.
Got it again a few years later, from mowing the lawn without doing up the laces in my runners.
What works good for me to get rid of it, and to prevent it happening again is calf stretches, I do them everyday,

The kid we re trialing Luke teal would appear a replica of TB either our wise heads see this part of the team being a cornerstone going forward or we re not confident we got it covered , I think the former as we have absolutely loaded up on intercepting backs and I feel the view is the last line of deface is where we gonna be stacked under todays rules
The club may believe that big back men can be sent forward ala Balta Gibcus miller

St Kilda Rohan Marshall had this during the 2022 season

" ST KILDA will be without Rowan Marshall for at least a month with the ruckman set to undergo surgery on a plantar fascia injury that has plagued him for weeks.
Marshall was subbed off during Friday night's clash against Geelong after aggravating the injury, which also saw him miss the opening three rounds of the season, as well as round five.
"This is a really frustrating injury to manage," St Kilda's chief operating officer Simon Lethlean said.
It can seem a bit like one step forward, two steps back, but that is the nature of this issue.
The only thing we can do is support Rowan and give him the time he needs to recover."

I think he only missed 1-2 games

Teal not so much big key defender , Same mound as Vlas , grimes and broard , that is interceptors . Dimma has spoke before that defense has evolved and is now being stacked on the line that reflected in our recruiting

I’ve got gout atm from too much beer and fish. I wish I had plantar. Seriously though I’ve had both. This is bad but easy enough to treat. Spare a thought for me as Mrs Snags is dragging me limping all around London.

She’s pretty good. I cop it for an hour and she knows exactly when to bring out the carrot and opportunity to wet the whistle.
