Training For 2023

Mansell in for Cumbo and Cotch as the sub for me
loved the midfield/HF mix last week with Taranto, Hopper, Shai, Dion, Dusty and Shorty having stints at centre bounces. Cotch coming in would disrupt that i feel, so agree, sub (y)

Cotchy saves his very very best for Geelong.

Our best chance to *smile* these *smile* up, again,

Would be

Drop grimes and deputise cotchy Captain

And play him in the guts for 100% gt

I couldnt give a *smile* whose sub

Yep
Cotchin hates Geelong more then me.

He hates geelong like jack dyer hated collingwood.

He cites Ripping gary abletts shoulder off and throwing it into an eternal irrelevance on the Gabba GF

As more significant and serene than the births of all three of his kids and the 2017 flag and his brownlow combined

Biggy came back from injury 2 weeks ago in the VFL and refused to get within 5m of the ball. Even the commentators commented that he looked “cautious”.
Anyone pushing him for promotion needs to watch that game. It was like watching Chol in the 2020 semi (?) against Brisbane. A very non Richmond man game

The only thing that can stop a Richmond resurgence is the injury Bogeyman. I wont go as hard because I dont want to get injured....its time to go 110% at everything.
We cannot afford to be timid.

I was masterfully outflanked by the genius man-manager MrsEZ

into taking my MIL to that game.

she knew almost zero about footy.

and she still spits out her wine in an extraordinary maelstrom of expletives,

whenever she glimpses Mabior on the TV.

* I have it on good authority, that Mabs is the nicest and funniest man ever to play footy with.

Probably not the right thread to post this in but just watched Dimma’s presser… Why the hell do we always have setbacks with players? Gibcus was ready to go now all of a sudden he’s had hamstring soreness and won’t play for a few weeks. Seth Campbell we’ve clearly mismanaged with his groin as he took time off, played a game, looked close again and now he’s listed as medium term. Soldo too with his foot, one game back and he’s out again… we had the same issues last year (I know we had Peter Burge in charge, but Meehan was at the club too). It’s frustrating!! Kaleb Smith another, was tracking well then had to be pulled back and is now long term again.

Oh and Tom Brown too with his wrist!!

Think the answer there is because it is a natural and expected aspect of injuries.

Everyone is dealing with them, the difference is probably that you are more tuned in to what is happening at Richmond. Guys like Campbell and Smith wouldn't even register with anyone else, the same way other clubs young fringe players don't register with us.

If I said names like Hannebery, Fyfe, Salem, Franklin, Gawn, Yeo, Grundy, or Wingard who have all suffered similar paths through injury over the past few years, people would be much more aware of set backs happening.

You couldn’t chose Biggie or Miller to play back if Young was also available.
You couldn’t pick Biggie or Miller to play anywhere if Young was also available.
This was only if Balta was out as there seemed to be doubts about him on this forum
