No bc they are a partial guide in pick swapping trades. It's just some posters are OBTUSE or fail to comprehend what's being posted and think that i'm basing my whole life on it . A poster basically admitted this in their first quote to me. It's a system used by the List Managers that was devised by the AFL and the latest i looked here we are discussing AFL trade pick issues so why should we be banned? The reality is we wouldn't be arguing for five pages if certain posters followed the discussion and didn't just troll my posts. Anyway I'm moving on until real discussion about players or trades come up. Some posters think they will experience some Meteoric Rise by arguing and trolling all day .

So what's your consensus Willo ? Will we trade up or not? I want two of FOS, Lalor and Draper, but i don't think it's possible without giving up early picks 6 and 10/11 and a few peanuts in return for pick 2

Unles there is a very very good deal to be had. Not just evens but overwhelmingly in our favour.
If that’s getting p2, and a f1 from #lolnorf but giving up p6 and p18 or 20 I’d still be reluctant. p10 and p18 ok..
Picks 23/24 if either attracts a good offer ie 2025 1st. Probably depending on which team, it maybe considered. A team projected to be the top of the Eight, demand more or they can GAGF.

I’ll repeat it again… it’s doesn’t matter when bids are done on academy & father/sons.. the same pool will still be there.
Yeah, I don't understand why the idea of bids affecting picks is still brought up. Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't make any difference in any way.
If Pick 6 becomes "Pick 7", it's still the 6th pick. It doesn't mean we drop back in the draft.
I'm a bit surprised Tauru isn't a top 10 lock.
If North retain their pick #2, he probably goes there.
If North snags our pick #6, he'll either go to the Dees at pick #5 or the Kangas at #6.
If he somehow isn't picked by then, surely the Saints pounce at #7 or #8.
And if all else fails, the Dees have another look at #9.
But if he magically makes it all the way to #10, we've got ourselves a unicorn.
(That would be technically outside the top 10 accounting for matched bids.)
What's discusting is Brisbane getting Ashcroft for pick 20,that's robbery.
Post on another forum mentions Richmond in talks with Port / GWS / Richmond involving down grading #10 to #13 + #39

Why do we now want a downgrade of 3 places in the first round and a poxy p39? We gave away p32 for nuffink.
Everyone knows picks over 30 are only for points. We don’t need points so shove it.
