Top 10 predicitions?

I have no influence so no point arguing whether it's right or not. I don't think it is. A pick's a pick's a pick.

Just a quick question, why would melbourne trade their pick 3 for a pick one or two in next years draft? It doesn't make sense paticularly seeing that this year is supposed to be a very good draft pool.

It isn't only a pick, they get to pick the actual player this post-season who will train with them over the next year and play in their AFL affiliate before being eligible to play seniors the year after.

And don't Melbourne have pick 4 this year also through compensation? So they already have a high pick this year and guarantee having a top player next year through the mini draft this year. I'd do it plus the reasons skillz mentions.

It all comes down to whether Melb are forced to use one of their top picks on Viney as their father /son. GWS won't bid for him as they will probably go for Whitfield so it comes down to whether GC will bid. If GC don't which is my guess as they would probably go for another tall KPP, then your scenario could play out. If I was Melb, I would take the 2 picks now and get games into them if the top picks this year are as good as people say.

On another note, it looks as if the AFL's investigation on the Melb tank has faded away. I think the AFL will be glad if they are able to sweep it under the carpet. Melb should be penalised and forced to give up a pick or two.

In regards to the mini draft next years draft is looking as good as this one if not better. It has a lot of quality coming through already including some KPP.

Yep, tipping Boyd will be top of the list too!

From what I've been told he's a 5-10 prospect. Lacks a bit of mobility but obviously it's ridiculously early days.

After watching the TAC cup GF has it made the top ten picks any clearer? McRae has done his top 10 chances no harm.

Lock it in boys.

Mason Shaw jumps out at me. I can't find a spot for him in the top 25.

Well...Vlastuin it is then..

I can live with that.

Plowman is a big chance for top 10. Shaw would have to be a long shot to make it. The rest of the names looking very close, order TBA.

From all reports Troy Menzel's knee won't require surgery, it was the opposite knee to the one which underwent LARS surgery. So where does one place him in the pecking order? Is pick 9 taking an undue risk?

Yep. Watch him slide big time.
