Great job Nature Strip. Fantastic career.
Yep great career but he’s done. Really can’t see why they went on with him this preparation. It was clear he was done at the end of the last preparation. The new order has arrived.

Benedetta is a serious racehorse.

3 wide without cover, eyeballed in the straight by the good sydney cummings horse,

Then launched!

It will win a G1 this spring up to 1400m i reckon
She’s a gun. And she’s even better down the straight.

I see Eduardo was also retired on Saturday. Fitting that it was the same day as his old adversary. Like with Nature Strip time waits for no one.

Congratulations to both of them on amazing careers.

Berkeley Square today.

And Berkeley Square, Giga Kick all up.
Shocking ride from McNeil on Berkeley Square. Gave it no chance. Average rider.

But Giga Kick was beaten fair and square by Imperatriz. She gave him windburn and Dee hardly touched her; incredible win. I backed her in the hope Giga Kick might be vulnerable first up over 1000m but didn’t have a great deal of confidence.

Also an awesome return by Sunshine In Paris in Sydney. Pretty soft win in the end. Attrition unlucky again in the Feehan. His time will come soon.

Great win by Imperatriz, not a good ride by Willow on Giga Kick.

There were some super wins today by up and coming horses.

Imperatriz, Charm Stone, Sunshine In Paris and Cylinder all impressive.

Yep also massive runs by beaten horses. Cafe Millenium and Militarize in Sydney. Attrition and First Immortal in Melbourne. Follow all 4.

Also follow Atishu. No luck at all today; ran into a wall of horses 200m out. Very good return.

Thought Berkeley Square was very one paced and does what he does and crabbed around the bend. That's not the jockeys fault.

Needs Flemington where he runs his best.

They were all good but missed the best run today I reckon Mopsy.

Steparty.

Proper Proper horse. Backed him today and he put a good field away again when still underdone.

Backed him for the Cox Plate at 50's a couple of weeks ago and suspect it will turn out a very nice bet.

The Caulfield Guineas also at his mercy.

Best 3 y.o in the country for leysy.

Nah. One start at the Valley for a win before today. He’s got a turn of foot showed that last preparation. He was well placed early in the race but McNeil let just about every horse in the field go around him. By the time he worked out what was happening it was all over. Poor judgment.

He’s very good and it was a top win today when he was probably most vulnerable. They will find it hard to beat him over further. Scentify was also very good in second.

But Imperatriz was run of the day. Phenomenal performance.

Yes indeed Rids, you can add Legarto over in NZ to the list too. Super 1st up run.

Fair call LD. I backed it today as well in a multi with Red Card and Cylinder.

Sky’s the limit with this one.

Yeah I thought that was a *smile* ride too. But Square also looked very awkward on the turn as well.

Imperatriz was unreal.

She’s a gun. As is Prowess although not sure we’re she is at; haven’t seen her yet this preparation.

That race in NZ saw Skew Wiff chalk up another G1 winner for Savabeel. Reckon that’s his 32nd. Incredible sire.

Backed Rothfire in the McSpewen. Pretty decent effort but Imp was incredible.

What happened to Globe today ?

Yes possibly mate.

Just not sure the horse matches the hype and odds it goes round at, especially on the tighter tracks.

Think it's pretty limited.
