Thoroughbred racing

Strange day. Some of the hot pots at Flemington got rolled. Antino desperately unlucky. Kah’s ride on Legacies was terrible; needed to settle back and unleash. Benedetta got way too far back and just failed to reel them in (good call on Star Patrol by Leysy!). Amelia’s Jewel won as expected; not devastating but did all she needed to do. Mr. B the ultimate professional; in seriously good form.

Had good wins on Carini in the last as well as Private Eye and Tiz Invincible in Sydney. Reasonable day overall.

It’s shaping up to be a ripper spring.

Benedetta is a very very good horse.

It can win but be very very wary of unloading on her in that race ILO. Especially at the current price. Confident it drifts.

Star Patrol has been trialling and jumping out like a lear jet and tellingly he has none of his usual feet gear on (synthetic hoof filler and glue on shoes).

That is a good guide McDonald has him spot on.

The only question mark, is it is coming back from a throat op. If they have fixed it's breathing it could find lengths on its previous form which is scary. But never quite sure until put under race condition.

At the price though $6. It's a definite bet for Leysy.

Too good leysy

Benedetta a G2/G3 horse i think. I thought she was G1

Stackhouse on water and lettuce all weak (sic) didnt help,

He was in a coma

Jeez i hate those Sydney *smile* - theyre gonna *smile* up the cox plate again with that Great WA Mare going to the *smile* en Eagle?

Still reckon she’ll measure up at G1 somewhere. She just got too far back today. Take nothing from the winner but there was little in it at the end. She’s probably not a Champions Sprint or TJ Smith winner but she’ll win one of the lesser G1s.

Yeah maybe The manikato if imperatriz isnt there?

But i reckon 4yo peaking fit with 53kg she wins that race today if shes G1 level.

Think Imperatriz will be in the Manikato. $2m race and she LOVES the Valley.

Yeah I thought she should’ve won. You could be right but as I said she got too far out of her ground. Prepared to forgive.

Dunces of Doom strike YET again. Is quite the habit. ;)

No knock on Benedetta's run today. Star Patrol is a straight track freak when right. Her day will come.

Redfords certainly seen the light, following Leysy's endless supply of winning tips. Smart man.
Let’s be 100% clear. I never follow anything you tip or predict. In fact, if I’d have known you were backing Star Patrol I’d have avoided at all costs. You’re the Captain of the Dunces of Doom. Shocking…shocking record.

Lucky my my ingrained tipping talent was enough to overcome your significant cursability. Good beats evil.

Note: why haven’t you yet apologised to the owners of Incentivise ? Shocking what you did to that horse. Shocking.

What’s the good oil today punters?

I’m leaning towards Without A Fight in the Underwood and Shinzo in the Golden Rose.

Reckon the first three favourites salute at Caulfield so might multi them up.

I like Amenable, W,W & W,P with Berkley Square.
