Thoroughbred racing

I like Seabrook and Brave Smash tomorrow, and have backed Spin, Egg Tart and D'argento "all in" over the last month or so.

I feel a confidence in Kementari similar that which I felt on the Tigers last Sept 29. Facing a mountain with a big grin.

Reckon Furore wins the Oaks too. His run in the Guineas was better than D'argento IMO. I might have already said, but Avdulla gave up on him he'd had so much interference, but Furore kept coming despite the jockey.

Anyway, good punting all. see you on the other side :fing32

Agree that Furore is an excellent chance but reckon he might not be allowed in the Oaks, is in the Derby tomorrow though (lol)

Have also backed Comin Through in the Doncaster but very tough race.

Good punting all

I’m sure that in today’s age of political correctness, Furore’s connections were intending to make a special case application for Oaks entry. Why not!

Just as an aside, take a look at the Acceptances for next week’s Moruya meeting.

young James has an acceptor for Godolphin in the first a maiden, then later in the program has Etymology a BM85, running in a Class 1 and Maiden Plate. The horse ran 2nd in the 2015 VRC Derby and yes, is still a Class1 two and a half years later!

I think it ran third in town a few weeks ago too Bernie if i'm not mistaken.

Can’t be accused of ball tampering, he is a gelding! Perhaps the Hannah Mouncey of the equine world. Lol

Thought that myself.

Now, let’s close down this discussion lest we risk offense to big ET! Nah, he can cope.

As I said earlier, have a look at our Love Shack baby at Kembla.

Good punting all.

And isn’t it great watching Collingwood and Carlton trying to break their maiden status? All tigers win irrespective of the outcome.

:hihi

Maybe that why hes got the blows? An LGBTI horse?

The more i look at Invisible Gem in the Donny the more i like her, have backed her each way.

Gutless ride.

Needed to push out at top of straight. And could have.

Not sure would have won but would have been in picture.

Feel for ya ET.

thanks leysy.

hes a smart arse little *smile*.

been pushing good horses heads up slow horses arses all autumn.

K never got a go at 'em.

I actually texted my big bro before the race and said

'Avdulla is my only worry - little smart arse relies on luck too much'

Like you said, swing him out and let him go

thats racing. saved half on clappy so no disasters.

If the tigers dont beat hawks tomo, it'll feel like a pretty disastrous weekend though. :p

edit what the jockeys said Doncaster 2018 (no *smile*)

Brenton Avdulla (Kementari): “I stuffed that one up.”

Ill give him honesty

I will hate Avdulla until the end of time.

honesty is an amazing salve I reckon.

Avdulla got off the horse yesterday and goes

"I stuffed that one up"

and I forgive him.

if he goes

"no luck in the run, he's looking for the paddock", my disdain persists and persists.

But he owns it, and we all move on :fing32

Was pleased to see Clappy run a race record 133.1. Joey Moreiero would have only ridden Kemetari into 2nd.

A line under Autumn with a modest profit.

Go tigers.

Yeah the Clapper was just too good, a whisker off the track record that has stood for 40 odd years.

STC was beaten at the barrier draw. Elmer's up for the Unco's this sat.

Have 2 going around at Seymour today, Queen Leonora (race 2) and The Ceremony (race 3) - both no 8 and both drew 3. QL should win and TC is first start and is a little unkown but has shown good ability so a forward showing would not surprise although is really only there for the experience and to learn so maybe each way at best.
I'm Buxom to probably go around at Pakenham Thursday nihgt (spelt incorrectly deliberately!) but has drawn 9 in a field of 9 - still rate her highly and will enjoy 1600m (as will QL today).

Fingers crossed.

very generous of you to share '44 :fing32

good luck

Both were terrible. Ride on Queen Leonora was disgraceful, ran into more rear ends in the straight than was possible, very frustrating. The Ceremony just never looked comfortable. Not sure why the track seems wet? (not that that is an excuse ...... yet)

Apologies to any who are out of pocket!
