Thoroughbred racing

Just posting so I could be post 10k! Well done easy, was on Crytal Dreamer myself. Hopefully you also noted I did not spruiking Urban Ruler - despite stable thinking he would go well. They are playing with his gear - had front bar plates on yesterday and l think that is not a good sign. Still I was stupid enough to put mine on but at least I don't have to hide from a collective noun of unhappy punters.

Waiting for your next tip Easy, good work.

:hihi

careful t44, thats a bulging can o' worms right there.

funnily enough, id forgotten urban ruler was yours and i had it picked as my BOD on friday night.

i went cold 10 mins out and backed the horse that ran 2nd the place, then went all up crystal dreamer.

so good signs.

it'll be very infrequent punting from me until the autumn carnival. I broke an important punting rule, through boredom, and punted a non-listed race yesterday.

not often you profit from breaking punting rules, so yeah

Plenty of punters day no more but nature of the punter is to bet. Not many in my experience are good at disciplined punting.

I have a horse - Regal Cannon - running race 1 @ Warwick Farm.

When the trainer is already saying it will be ‘better for the run’ you know it ain’t going to end well.

A few good races appearing again.

Its been tried before, but anyone interested in a punters club for a bit of fun?

I'd like to see it work like this.

we generate a list of punters who take turns having $10 on a horse.

if you win, you bask in the glory, punt the $10 again the following saturday, and hand the remainder of the winning unconditionally to a homeless person (they can buy ciggies or a bottle of port and have a punt if thats what brings them relief)

we all know that we wont have to unturn to many rocks near a Tote or a racetrack to find a person down on their luck.

if you and the homeless person want, you can have a conversation and post a story. But thats not what its about.

Its about proper altruism, a bit of fun, and acknowledging that life is a game of millimetres.

We'll keep a ledger of win/loss and have an altruistic punter of the year.

The wowser would say 'why not just hand $10 a week to the homeless?'

luckily, wowsers dont frequent these parts.

any takers?

beauty fellas. the good thing is, once theres loads of homeless people walking around in Yeezys and carrying bottles of chivas regal, everyone will want to play, and they'lle be welcome too.

lets start this Saturday, and we'll go alphabetical.

got an opening special for the PRE unconditional punters club tomoz actually (not club punting it, just sharing it)

secret mo R2 doomben. on the times its trialled and won fresh over 1000m, it should be $4 fav, but its $25. :headscratch

take a look.

I have a small share in one having her first run @ Bendigo today, R3N12 I'm Buxom - not a great name but guess the horse doesn't know that! Is out of De'Colletage so guess that is where the name comes from.

Goes ok just not too sure what to expect. Hoping rather than expecting. Is currently $3.80 which is fairly short. Worth a dollar each way.
