There is little doubt that an emphatic early collect bodes well for a campaign.
Im beginning to suspect im a footy specialist.
I reckon the old bull Terravista is good value at $2.40 for the place on Saturday. He's up against Redzel who's paying $1.75 for the win, the last time they clashed was in the Darley last November, Redzel won, but the old fella closed late to get within 3/4 of a length to finish second. He's got a great record at the track and distance Distance 5:2,2,0, Track 8:2,3,2. I'll take him in a multi with a couple of pacers.
I also like Inference as a roughie in the Apollo Stakes in Sydney.

Bad luck Easy, Addictive Nature let down many of the homeless in your area. 3yo taking on older horses at wfa this time of year - difficult task - more so over longer than sprint distances.
Would have been great to get a big collect.
Glad to hear a couple were able to get some $ out of No Interest. Still haven’t seen the race, was on a tram on way home from Flemington at the time.
Political comment - backed 2 D K Weir horses over the weekend. One Friday night (Limestone) and one Saturday (Imperator Augustus) both opened short and both blew like the north wind and both ran accordingly. Taking early odds on his horses is fraught with danger. Just my (frustrated) 10 cents worth!

Following on from an unlucky Easy last week, I have stuck to my formula of last race in Sydney and had $5 each way fixed odds on Denpurr (race 9 no 11). Odds were $21/$6.
Did consider a couple in Brisbane (Race 7 No 2 Neuschwenstein -$61 & Race 8 No 3 Flamboyer - $21) but weather up there looks ominous and wouldn’t be surprised to see races called off so will go to Rosehill instead.
Liked a couple at Caulfield, Brave Smash (DK Weir???) Oohood, Jester Halo & Catchy.
