All up
Sr5- Divine Prophet win all up Mr6-Seaburge each-way.
And then the same again with Ar2 Urban Ruler Win.
Good punting everyone, lucks a fortune!!!!

Good luck t44

So close yet so far.
Divine Prophet beaten a neck.
Seaburge loomed up like the winner and got beaten into 4th by a bob of the heads.
Urban Ruler was a very gutsy winner.
Congratulations t44.

:rofl. Ah the Kiss of Death strikes again....stick to the footy old boy at least you're a 50/50 chance.

bad form TT. Accolades when a bloke wins, silence when he loses. everyone knows that.

I went down the gurgler with Leysy. *smile* Black Heart Bart is like North Melbourne.

still i didnt do much damage. Its clear im out of form. Got Jameka going in the CC and Sacred Elixir in the CG at decent prepost odds.

If Winx can start evens in the Cox plate, which I think she will, I will mortgage my farm and have one more bet for the spring.

I took the boat out fishing at 0500 this morning off Ballina and had 40kg of snapper on ice by 0600. In classic punting rationalisation, I covered my loses in snapper fillet. :hihi

Winx will eat Black Heart Bart, that's for sure, Easy. But there must be something in the water at Weir's stable. He's a different horse. No issue running out the journey at all in the Underwood.

Even with The Cleaner in they went very very slowly which suited the sprint home. BHB is nothing if not a gun sprinter.

Thanks for the congrats, was a tough win but I didn't mean it literally when I said he should just win! Seemed to take forever to get to the line but will take the win and move on. Urban Ruler has now won 3 from 5 so pretty good record. (Stacks up very well with Mossbeat's 1 from 26!). Very happy with the odds boost now offered by Sportsbet. Ended up with $2.35 which wasn't too bad. Had a good day.

Was already on Leysy's Awesome Rock before his spruik and agreed 100% with his pre race summary. Was in the right spot on the back of Black Heart Bart but just couldn't sprint quick enough when it mattered. Good on Leysy for at least putting it out there. There were a few I liked that I wasn't game enough to put up and luckily didn't as they all wnet ordinary. That's punting - you take the good with the bad.

Back to Morphettville again this week I think with Mossbeat.

I have backed Dusty to run a drum tonight @ $2.50 - good value I reckon.

Go Tigers

That's true, JB. Very slow sectionals suited him for sure.

Toothless must have conveniently missed the other tip leysy threw out on Saturday. $3.60 winner.

Num num num

Enjoyable day at the track with some good company. Never a dull conversation with the great Dyer'ere. ;D

Not going with you on this one mate.

With the claim Royal Rapture actually meets Big Memory 1Kg better.

Think your nag will be wanting more ground as well.

Combine that with Weir's horses always getting better no matter how deep into the prep and Royal Rapture just wins again at a good price.

Sorry I missed it. You boys up for the all-star match at PRO on Friday? Griggs and in-depth player analysis? Jack? Gyps?

Im gonna go early this week. I only bet on group races these days, cause I know they're all trying. So I love spring.

The Turnbull is a ripper this year. Im gonna lay Hartnell. Risky, I know, but hes never won in melbourne.

I like the two horses with the big long stride getting around Flemington: Preferment and Jameka.

Im gonna stick with Jameka. Shes well weighted, shes a very long horse with a very long stride that will eat up Flemington. and her turn off foot is something. I love a turn of foot in Group races.

But I think I'll save on Preferment EW, who should have won the Turnbull/Cup double last year. if frankie dettori didnt decide to practice his box turns, in traffic at the 600m.

I like Palentino in The Epsom too.

Mossbeat is in the last at Morphettville on Saturday. Drew nicely in 3 and has Z Spain to pilot - they have had a lot of rain in SA - which will suit her but races may even be called off. Already a heavy 10 with more rain to come. Can't tip her to win with any confidence, excellent place bet. Has come up $3.80 and $1.70 on Sportsbet - not great odds for a conveyance that has won one race from 26 goes!

Will be at a mates place watching the GF - what do you reckon my chances are of asking to turn the television over to Sky Channel at about 5.20pm ? Can see it now - Dogs hanging on by a thread 5 minutes to play - lets watch this non winner run third in the last at Morphettville - don't think so!

Haven't looked at Saturdays fields.

Have backed Hartnell at Flemington Sunday with odds boost. Easy have you seen his last two wins in Sydney ? Has spaced them and done it on the bit. Also had an each way on Lidari in the last - 4 wins first up and won a Listed race (admittedly over 1700m) last time when first up with 60kgs. B Rawiller sticks and D Weir has a few in it. Worth a speculative bet @ $26.

Good punting all.

Yeah hes been romping in 44. On weights, he should beat Preferment by over 10 lengths going on the last start.

But Hartnell was an exceptional horse in Sydney last spring and flopped in Melbourne. I think Preferment will peak for this race and is 2/2 at track/dist.

Im going out on a limb here @ 25-1. An exceptional value EW saver.

Agree with your view of Preferment and his chances, not sure he is going as well as when he won the Aust Cup (albeit on protest). Is one of my favourite horses, have backed him at his last three starts at Flemington, two wins and a 20th (thanks Frankie Dettori). Still can't get the vision of Hartnell's last couple of wins out of my mind. I do know he doesn't like the track too firm - which is one of the excuses offered for his failures down here before. Will stick with him.

Yeah I got the word on him early last spring and took him at 35-1 a long way out in both Cups.

Jeez, Waller didnt accept for the CC in preference for The Cox Plate when I remember he was favourite for The Caufield Cup? I felt pretty stiffed.

Then *smile*ing Dettori pole axed him as he was winding up in The Melbourne Cup. I believe if Dettori stayed in Italy where the cheating little prick belongs, Preferment wins.

He doesnt owe me anything though cause, like you, I followed him all spring.

I agree, he doesnt seem like hes travelling as well, but I just reckon flemington will do him wonders, and 3rd up over 1600-2000 is my most enduring punting system.

I wont be at all surprised if Hartnell wins by 3 lengths. I just reckon Preferment is way overs. And I have to follow Jameka.

It'll probably be 80% of my stake on Jameka to win and !0% EW on Preferment.

yep, good luck.

Preferment definitely worth a spec back to head quarters.

He's a bit like an old nag Shocking in plenty of ways including that ILHO.

Really looking forward to the Moir stakes tonight. The Champ Buffering is trying to win the race for the 4th time and will give the mighty Chautauqua something to chase.
It will be interesting to see how this years Blue Diamond winner Extreme Choice races as a 3 year old. It should be a cracking race.
