She's a game mare, spook. But her form in open handicaps is nothing flash. She routinely smashes four horse fields - sit sprint affairs. And humps the mares.

That was the best win of her career IMO. Outstanding win. Blew me away.

BTW JT Conlan. Gypsy was giving him a rap. He scratched RI due to the state of the track BEFORE raceday. And then ran Larry's Never Late second up at 10 furlongs. Condition gave out. Would have won at a mile. JT Conlan is a carnie. If Smerdon trained those two they'd be five lengths better. (Conlan uses the same juice so it's the training and placement that differs.)

What a race the Queen Elizabeth is tomorrow.

Easily best of the year ILO.

A case can easily be made for any horse bar Speediness who is no slouch & could win an Emirates come spring.

Backing up on Rekindled Interest Dyer'ere?

Niwot the best of the day for leysy but would love to see Efficient win.

Can't remember exactly but not sure about MJ's 2000 form. I remember So You Think jog trotting past it but can't remember too many other 2000 runs. Reckon Manighar might have AMericain covered at the 2000 though still scarred by the last start backing Americain when it ran 3000 metres in a 2400 m race.

First time in open class for Atlantic Jewel as well. Couldn't back it at $1.20.

Like anything else today?

Did like Skyerush but just got back from shopping with Mrs Leysy & bloody missed it. Grrrrr.

As for anything else. Might be going mad but with some query over More Joyous at 2000m & Americain & Manighar dropping back in distance going to spec Rangirangdoo & Secret Admirer @ $20 & $22 respectively.

Old Pinwheel looks a good chance as well in the last.

Yes great win & full credit to her but WTF were the other jockeys doing. 2.05 for 2000m...

Handed the best sprinter the race on a platter. A jog trot then a sprint home.

Overseas trainers like O'Brien get bagged for ruining SO YOu Think but not sure Hayes has done much for Americain.

Hayes has been woeful for a long time ILO.

The way he's so dour Americain might be hard to place in Aus.

True. Weighted out of the handicaps and not sharp enough for the 2000m WFA races. We need a couple of 3200m WFA races!

Remember Hayes kept blaming jockeys for Miss Finland losing. Still makes me giggle. Should have left McEvoy in charge.

Hi, we have Shock Value running at the bool Wednesday in the Wangoom... he cant handle a heavy track, the weather looks OK, but from past experience the bool is always a bog!! I have a friend who has High Class Lady on Wed, then Choiciti on the Thurs. We will be there. They both have really good chances, trained on the track. Shocky, not confident, but will have a dollar or two anyway. The two other fillies look quite each way chances. Hope its fine !!

The forecast looks pretty wet. I will keep an eye on the two horses on the track Wed and Thursday if it's before the beer has kicked in.
