Re: Thoroughbred Horse Racing [Merged]

Boy did Haylist star tonight. Quickly becoming a super star.

Re: Thoroughbred Horse Racing [Merged]

In regard to the Damien Oliver situation thank you to those who've shown the common sense not to discuss it in detail. There could be serious legal implications involved. Several posts have been deleted. It's not appropriate to make light of the subject allegedly involved or post jokes about it on a family friendly forum. It's also not acceptable for anyone to post in regard to guilt either, especially when there have been no charges, official comments or legal proceedings.

Re: Thoroughbred Horse Racing [Merged]

Good luck lavy and Streaker. Hope you can turn our fortunes around and set up a successful spring carnival for our PRE Tipsters Club.

Ouch.

Biggest story in the countries history if he is guilty of what leysy has heard.

It's going to be massive. Creating a bit of a domino affect. Millions of carnies down the track are now airing their dealings with him. The mail isn't good. But, they are just carnies.

Agree, Scoop. I don't normally get on the bandwagon with these shorties, but this bloke appears to be top class. Just trying to keep a bit of a lid on him as he will start 2-1 on next time, he did only beat True Persuasion. Apparently he's going to the Gr2 sprint on Cox Plate day, and then he's got to conquer the Flemington straight at Gr1 WFA level... Unfortunately, it's hard to imagine a decent size field in either of those.

Fair enough, I said it with a tone of disgust but you lose that in words. My apolgises to anyone offended.

Good move RT. I was initially going to suggest that with my bet, but seeing as Eastlavy looked for some value, I thought I should do the same.

No worries scooper. Yours wasn't the only post deleted. No decent person would fail to be disgusted if rumours proved to be true but at this stage there is no official, or legally recognised, basis to them. We need to tread carefully.

I noticed my post was deleted too, apologise if i over stepped the mark. In saying that, i didn't think what i typed was dangerous in any way shape or form.

Highlighted part above in you post Rosy is quite defaming.

I didnt see it but heard Brian Martin's call on SEN & going on that it must have been something. What should be the aims for him now, short & long term?

Re: Thoroughbred Horse Racing [Merged]

Make no mistake Hay List is a star.

Did you see Nolen on Reward for Effort take him on for about 100m mid race to try & soften him up, then said oh *smile*. Gunna destroy my horse if I keep this up. ;D

Love how he still had a massive kick left after leading a hot pace. Only world class horses do that. & this bloke is.

Reckon he will grow another leg if that is possible once they get him up the straight. Dont think he handled the bend at the Valley, which is understandable given his size.

Only thing stopping him being the best sprinter in the world are his feet (always had trouble with them) & a leg injury that is a definate threat to a 630Kg animal.

Other than that nothing will get near him. Will win the Moir & Patinack. Actually anything he contests, anywhere if he stays sound.

Re: Thoroughbred Horse Racing [Merged]

BTW Hay List is starting on sunday in the Gilgai stakes.

& how about the VRC changing the Turnbull Stakes meeting to Sunday...
Would have preferred it to start earlier on Saturday.

Agree! It was a very very impressive run and he is now 7/8 from that distance. Will be backing him at any race he goes over similar distance for the foreseeable future!
