The RIP thread

RIP Bill Paxton. Best known for films like Aliens he was a great character actor who excelled in other roles. "Game over man game over" becomes poignant now.

That's a big shock. He played the heel character so well.

Just heard footy journalist Trevor Grant passed away.

Picked up asbestos during work at The Age and Hun: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-05/grant-i-was-blindsided-by-cancer/7299940

Terrible, when you don't even realise what's happening around you.
 
Sweet dreams to the dear little boy drowned in the Murray. Best wishes for his brother to recover and have a happy life. So sad. So tragic. :'(

Shocking...i remember reading many stories with his byline.
 
RIP to Bill Leak the cartoonist from the Australian. He was very talented at his craft.

Yeah loved Footrot Flats as a kid. I only realised later in life it was set in NZ, not Australia.
