Although Maxy was in pretty good company...
The more I read about Chappelli the more I think he was just a prick.

thanks L&D. Though the beef is/was pretty minor.

thought Maxy was a fellow taswegian.
You're confusing me with Leysy. I'm a Vic through and through.

I think the fact that Chappell's players adored him and would do anything for him speaks more about him than Walker being upset because Chappell accurately called him a bland, shameless self-promoter. Every professional cricketer of the last 40 years owes Chappell a slice of his increased income. Every cricket lover should listen to the in-depth stuff he does online. He also has a great record of acting on his social conscience. I have a lot of time for Ian Chappell.

Hard to argue with most of this, although I cannot recall Maxy ever publicly complaining about Chapelli's treatment.

RIP Rebecca Wilson from cancer at 54, I know she rubbed a lot of people the wrong way but she didn't deserve this.

Gee just read this IanG.

True. She did have that ability to do that but to die at such a young age, I didn't realise she was 54 from the dreaded C is devastating to the family.

RIP

Sad to hear. I thought she was younger, and just shows how hidden these situations can be. Looking at her, you'd think she was a healthy person.

Ted Bullpitt, aka Ross Higgins. Loved Kingswood Country as a kid. Surprised he was 85.

R.I.P.

Can't believe how fast this trend is getting nowadays.

RIP Ross. Funny bloke in that pre-PC comedy. He was great in the Mortein ads too.
