Bob Newhart has died at 94.
Legendary comedian, loved his show back in the 70s/80s?
And of course his role in Elf

He really was a funny guy. His show, All in the Family and Barney Miller were my favourite 70's sitcoms. I was just a kid but could appreciate the dry, understated humour and liked it more than a lot of the more obvious, bombastic stuff going around at the time.
 
John Mayall
His importance on the British blues music scene in the 1960s was supreme. He was one of the greats.
I saw him perform about 35 years ago at a Bluesbreakers "reunion" gig in 1982 at the old Chevron Hotel with Mick Taylor, John McVie and drummer Colin Allen and felt at the time I was lucky to see such a legend up close. Going to play the first Bluesbreakers album right now. R.I.P.
