Good article.
scottyturnerscurse said:There's a rumour floating around on email, which makes it doubly unreliable, that Hinkley will be offered the coaching role and Richardson as assistant. The theory goes that there's no way Richardson will get the chief gig at the Pies anytime soon and so might be tempted to jump ship.

Weren't we already following it?
Yep it is crap TB. March will be o/s early next week so the announcement wont be made until Thursday next week at the earliest.Tigerbob said:Yep they do not go that short unless it is a certainty.
Or are they going on today's media love in with two articles about Hinkley and of course the famous 3/4 time speech?
The beauty is no one knows. You would think if the bookies got wind of this, then surely the media would be all over it.
Got an email just then saying it is done and will be announced as early as Monday. Sounds like crap.

GoodOne said:Gotta say I'm warming to Hinkley. I think there's alot going for someone who's been an assistant coach at a very successful club for 6 years. A club that has only had a handful of losses for much of that time. You can do alot worse than use the Geelong model as a template for future success.
