hardwick and his manger have spoken to the power about a succsion plan that would c damien take over in 2011 this meeting took place on monday
Hence why the roos didnt take him questions on his commitment

hmm, so should we be interested in a bloke who is thinking of moving to Port Power in a few years? ???

I used Google Images to look for a photo of this alan richardson fellow.

Hmm, the first pics in the search are ... err ... interesting ....

The AFL website is reporting that the Cats wnt Hinkley to stary for their finals campaign if Kenny gets the Tigers gig. Bomber says: "he's a big part of what we do here, and if he was to leave, it would leave a massive hole and we don't want that, we want our team working as a group for as long as we last."

My mail via my coffee shop via a coburg FC insider is that Richardson has the job and has resigned from Essendon.

My mail not as reliable as Scooty's though, but words "done deal" and "prick" were uttered.

Where have I heard that before?
I have said in other posts that the Club has done well to keep it all quiet and indeed they have. But indirectly from a well respected Journo, I think you are on the money Lamb22!! Although I am not so sure about the "resigned from Essendon" part

brad scott said richmond were wanting some one with more experience
Al has a lot of this coached coburg worked at the dogs the pies thes dons
Hes background reminds me of ross lyon and has worked with top coaches

I'd be very happy with Al Richo, he has lots of runs on the board in the player development area & I think we all agree that is 1 area the RFC has been deplorable in the past 3 decades.

Just reading through Robbo's blog on herald sun web site he thinks Richardson will get the job followed by Hinkley & Hardwick

If this is Robbo's mail I would say the job is Jades! ;D

I find it amazing that people can assume their is a favourite even before Ken has been interviewed!

Solid HBF with the Pies.
From my vague memory, he was a hard working type of player who got the most out of himself. Not a star, but a bit like Sheeds, in that he was not blessed with the talent some of the so Called "stars" of the game might have, but made the most of what he had. Iirc his career was cut short by injury.

Thanks TF was he a tough footballer?

No he wasn't a toughnut like Hardwick who also played as HBF in most of his career at Essendon, but I liked what I saw (at Coburg) and still hear about Richo.

Hardwick and Richo are my preferred coaches. I'm not sure that Hinkley would be any good.

Exactly right. He's got great communication.
