The least tactical sub in history

Speak bloody English without all the bullsh#%! Slang and knick names and you might get your message, if you have one, across to more people! Without the rest of us having to second guess your meaning!
OK, since you have a short attention span and an even shorter fuse.

The aforementioned post was one of the most stupid posts I've ever read on this site. We have a three time premiership winning coach, who apparently, in your learned opinion, is the "worst game day coach in the AFL."

I agree, that if we perform poorly, Dimma will probably walk - because he has said as much himself. He'll want to go before the axe comes and I think our club will stage manage that scenario better than we did in the past.

With respect to the previous post you made, well, we all hate losing. Sometimes folks say stuff they might regret in the cold light of day. Calling a three time premiership coach essentially nothing more than a motivational speaker borders on the ridiculous. If you can't see that, then it's not me who has a problem understanding things. Your post is not much more than a tantrum after several weeks of disappointing performances...it's a reflection on you, no one else.

However, if you have categorical, undeniable *proof* that someone other than Hardwick, was our game say coach during our premiership era, please present that evidence and ill stand corrected. So much so, that if you've got it, I'll donate $100 in your name to the Fighting Tiger Fund or other equivalent club fund-raiser. And I mean evidence, proof, not rabid opinions.
Otherwise, how bout you back the guy that helped bring you significant joy just a few years ago?

A much better response and without the bullsh&:mad:t speak. First thing first.

Hardwick was surrounded by excellent assistants who pathed the way for those 3 wonderful premierships - Hardwick functioned as manager/media front man.

By his own admission the coaching mistakes he made led to the club surrounding him with an excellent staff and the guiding experience of Balme.

He has repeatedly said that you don’t coach players like Martin which is an absurd thing to say and if true many would be thinking Martin needs some real coaching direction at this stage of his career.

His coaching on Monday was simply wrong. It cost us the game. So many close games lost at the death including the EF last season is on Hardwick. You coach those failures out of the squad.

I’m not the sort to dwell on past glories. In fact 2020 feels like a 1,000 years ago to me.

He needs help; again. He may get it. He may not. If he doesn’t, failure and a continual slide will determine his fate.

Good reply and a good debate.
I certainly agree that 2016 was a black stain on his coaching career.
With the talent we had he wasted that year with his stats driven negative and stubborn mindset, and build the ball defensive rubbish
However what followed made it easy to forgive and from the outside who knows how much his assistants were the cause of the turnaround - maybe he drove it with their help.
Rutten and Leppitsch went out and failed.
Then there is Fly - well Who Made Who you could say.
What came first, the Dimma or the Fly Egg

What if the tactical
Sub was actually that…you have 3 guys on the bench as the sub …a tall, a mid size and a small …and you get to pick one? Make it a tactical decision…not have to nominate before game starts because who knows what you will need. At the moment its just a 23rd player.
Something had the change the game and Hugo was the only option to inject fresh legs - regardless of the outcome.
But it shouldn’t be called a tactical sub…just a sub.
With our injuries we didn’t have another big man to sub in anyways but a change needed to be made.
