The Blair "Which?" Project

Just dumb founded any Richmond supporter would seriously give it air. The alternative would be far messier than sticking with Yze for his full contract
The sacking of Yze is not being given serious air.

A major part of the Tigers problem has already been solved for us by West Coast poaching Matt Clarke to head up their list management.
Six years of overall poor ND recruiting has been laid bare by our injury woes.
No guarantees on his replacement Chris Toce but at least he's a fresh set of eyes and hard to imagine he couldn't improve on Clarke's effort to stockpile a grab bag of short skinny seconds players.

It would also undo all the years of good work that Benny has overseen. Sound governance, thorough processes around decision making, calmness.

Do you understand what a CEO does at an AFL club?

Do you understand the role of a CEO of a $80m business?

Do you understand the kind of attributes required for this position? Its no shame if you don’t.
Yes I do , ive worked for some of the biggest co in the world , have a fair idea what makes a decent manager , sounds like the fact we have an injury list as long as your arm it’s a total reflection on the ceos ability to manage the organization, u need to get a clue
He has accountability for the business and a football structure that’s high performance and ultimately successful . The RFC executive has been top shelf , knee jerk reactions to a diabolical injury list are bone headed as it has little to do with the ceos performance

Stig seems to have an axe to grind, or multiple axes, and the people he talks to also have the same axes.

The club has engaged a search firm, already been reported. We have professional people on the Board many of who would have been through CEO appointment before. The search firm would be canvassing opinions and talking to people, that’s what they do initially, and one of the people they would be talking to is the outgoing CEO. That’s normal practice and they would be negligent if they didn’t. A short list will be the result.

Benny would obviously know any internal candidates but he would also know others.

We should just let the process play out, professional search firms and professional Boards know how to handle any bias an outgoing CEO may have. They would simply run internal candidates through exactly the same process as any external candidates. If you don’t want that you don’t engage a search firm, and we have.
Stig is a freakin' weird unit, you can safely disregard anything he says IMO.

A couple of players I would have a good look at are Bryan from Essendon and O'Donnell from The Dogs

Bryan will be in big demand imo. Carving it up in the VFL but sits behind Goldstein and Draper.

O'Donnell is actually a Cat B rookie so I am not sure what he would cost (not much). Looks a decent player but sitting behind a plethora of tall defenders at the dogs including VFL players in Khamis and Busslinger. The latter was actually a first round pick and can't get a game.

Some players doing well in the state leagues not getting a game that we should consider if available IMO: L.Young, Bryan, Erasmus, Worner, Moyle, Derksen, Aleer, N.Madden, Clurey, Lord, Heath, & Busslinger

A blind cat with 3 legs would select better then Clarke.
We are where we are on the back of some misjudged selections.
The 2017 draft we had 3 picks between 15-30 we selected Higgins Balta and Coleman Jones missing the Viking, Brett Daniels, Sammy Taylor and Oscar Allen.
The 5 in 30 looks like 2004 draft when we had 5 in 20,
And only nailed pick 1 Deledio.

Lord looked promising last year at stages.
Binns can't get a game at the blues, Stone and Gothard at the giants, Phillips at north has been mentioned on here a lot, Konstanty at the swans.
I'm not a junior watcher enough to know if these guys are any good.

Can we have a conversation about who we could get or might get rather than continually trawling over the history of who we didn’t get?
Let’s discuss who we might trade for, free agents and the like rather than complaining that we picked Richard Lounder and Anthony Banik.
Sorry but there is no point in replying to the above again… :)
It is history, a history that have been gone over so many times.

Alex Davies at the Suns could be an option especially if Graham leaves. Tough tackling defensive midfielder.
Binns would be a good option if we could arrange a suitable trade with Carlton, he's your winger opposite Hugo if Banks doesn't make the step up.

Will you stop banging on about 2004 a draft that literally had about 6 good players in it we got 1.

Davies is a decent player. There are a few knocking around in the vfl at the suns. I always thought Fiorini was a pretty good player and he is back in the vfl but I think he is probably 27-28 so outside our age demographic.

Sheldrick can’t get a game for the swans. Handy player. I’d also consider Erasmus. He’s a bit slow but would add value imo
